I'd be interested to hear if anyone is going to get this guy at a reasonable price. Or will this end up being a TFSource exclusive? At $200 or whatever their current outrageous price is. Get him back down into the $100 to $125 range and I'll take a second look. If TFSource can PO him at $150 then anyone else should be able to do better at this point.

 

As much as I dislike TFsource, I ordered mine from there. I would recommend getting it before it disappears, or the price goes up again.

I don't think any other retailer will be stocking it, or it would have shown up by now.

 

I actually preordered from TFSource (forgot I did actually) and Baba and I still haven’t gotten an invoice from Baba to pay for the figure. Messaged him as well. No answer. In my account it says “Awaiting Shipping”.

I got an email on April 23rd from TFSource saying my order in my stack was processed for Acid Swarm. Glad tho I paid $150 for him. I haven’t shipped him yet tho.

Added him to my stack at TFSource back in Nov 2020 and preordered from baba around a month later.

If the invoice does ever come from Baba, I’ll be happy to ship it at cost if the person just covers shipping.

 

I wish I had waited to ship him because he was one cent under the $150 free shipping threshold, so I actually paid $172 for him.

 

So I got mine for my birthday and kinda confused on how it came and it came without instructions. The box is really nice and came covered in fancy tissue paper. You can’t really see but the feet are half transformed. I didn’t get alternate wing decals either that the package advertised.

 

You'll have to pull the toes out and fix his waist. I dont recall alternate wing labels being a thing. I definitely didn't get any.

The transformation is pretty straight forward. Be careful on the ab fillers. I tried to pull the nose cone out before i untabbed those and bent the tabs on mine.

You’re not wrong about it being expensive there. 200 bucks for a seeker mold that is (in my opinion) third best at this point is not awesome

 

I've got my issues with the MakeToys mold, but for a 3rd string player like Acid Storm I'd still take a look at it. Of course that was before Deformation Space DS-01 was even a thing. Skipped him when he was a $150 PO and laughed my ass off when he shot up to $199.99 after release. I've got a feeling this dude will easily be 25% off for Black Friday and possibly 50% off for Christmas. With MP-52, a MP-52 KO, and DS-01 on the market now I'd have to see a sub $100 price to get me interested. Not impossible as Toy Dojo had Endgame/Dirge for $88 last year during a sale. Stupid sale that occurred 2 days after I ordered Endgame at $119...

I'm assuming you mean for MSRP? I'm fairly sure it was a TFSource exclusive so it's either up on that site or not.

Kind of crazy that when I was trying to sell this I legit couldn't give it away for $100 and de listed it. I know that it's not the DS mold but damn.

 

There is some stores that still have him but for around $200, not the $150 MSRP.
