Found Studio Gnaw at Fergus Falls Walmart of all places. I believe his case mates were there as well. Bumblebee for sure.
Seeing how they pulled off this one, that same style but it's a combination of ice and solid snow would look great.
^^^^^^^This^^^^^^^^ Although maybe they'll release them in whatever comes after Kingdom. I presume Gears, who was shown in the Kingdom artwork will be in the next series since well...G1...and maybe even Polar Claw since he was on that art.
I'd love to see it, but even if they keep the modular figures going I dunno how they square bone monsters with whatever theme is next.
True given the rumored list of the new wave after Kingdom I recall seeing was a mix of G1, Beast Wars, and...Unicron trilogy even? Been a while. All I recall for sure was Skids and Inferno from the rumored list.
I'd definitely be in for a new RID Optimus Prime. One of the few Transformers I regretted selling years ago, especially when RID got me fully back in Transformers again...even if the car bots were a bit of a mess. XP
Definitely want a new Omega Prime. *envisions a modernized RID Megatron* Maybe not everything needs an update. Armada was the first line I REALLY collected because it was the first point in my life I really had any money, so it'll always be special to me. It was super weird, but as I've been reorganizing and inventorying my TF room, I've really had a new appreciation for some of the designs in UT. It's like... Cyberverse tries to hit that level of line-wide gimmick integration but most of that stuff feels really cheap, where UT always felt solid. Sure, guys like Scavenger and Sideswipe weren't paragons of articulation, but there were some really unique designs on even those two (I still think about how cool Scavenger's arms were). I mean, heck, wouldn't it be cool if we got a GOOD BM Silverbolt? Or a Torca that doesn't disintegrate when you look at it? It'd be great if Legacy was a line that patch holes in addition to revitalizing old designs. I am BURNED OUT on '84-'86, man. Give me weird crap. Also, to stay on topic a little - Jolt shipped from Pulse
AV Pilot Knob Target has two SS Thrust and a Wreck-Gar who appears to be short one machine gun jubbly. I'm going to bring it home to see if it's in there.
So.......I ended up going to the showing of Transformers The Movie today for my birthday. The move was great, been awhile since I've seen it on the big screen (only 34 years give or take) To my surprise, the show was basically packed. Young and old alike. Was awesome to see. People were laughing it up too. I think most everybody enjoyed it given the response. Anyways......what wasn't great, AMC. That place is hot garbage. The seats, might as well have been from 1986. No leg room, even a small kid had trouble getting by us. No leather reclining seats. I'm not exactly small at 6' and over 3 bills but even my wife (who is small) was complaining about lack of seat room. Oh, and no food like we're used to eating. Yeah, they had regular snacks but no burgers, no cheese curds and it was still 46 bucks! We pay that much at Marcus but we're getting a lot more food for our money. Even if they had the regular type of food (popcorn, soda, etc) but nothing boojie like we're used to, that woulda been fine. But not updating their seating? That is absolutely ridiculous imo. I'm thinking, who the hell wants to come here with these seats like these. Only reason I did was because it wasn't being shown at Marcus. Ok........end of rant.
Man I'm surprised at that. Seems like most places had updated, especially during the first part of COVID. Hope the movie was good at least! I dunno if anyone here's seen that one. In sorta-sighting news, saw this guy show up in the mail today: Gonna go on my 'weirdo exclusive molds' shelf next to Evac.... who strangely has basically the same chest engineering? I spent some time wondering why I thought this mold looked so rad, and then I did some digging and found out it was designed by a dude who did a lot of my favorite molds around the time. He also did RotF Wheelie, but everyone has an off-day.
Eagan Target has Wingfinger and several Thrust. Enough Thrust to launch the store in to space, I'd say. Oh they've got this underrated gem as well. Also, because it was in the wrong spot...noticed they've got NECA Chromdome, Muckus, Mondo Gecko, and the two Triceratops dudes from the TMNT line. I liked Chromedome as a kid, and this is a big beefy boy. But that's not a Pandora's Box I'd particularly like to open budget wise at the moment.
