Me too! Gonna be a project for the weekend. I'm assuming we need to print the arm and fan parts twice. Looking forward to it!!

yeah, the arms, fans parts and knees all need to be mirrored and printed in their original orientation and the mirrored orientation since they're all bilaterally symmetrical.

Also, thank y'all for buying the set! I've neglected to show my gratitude.

Ah, sorry... seems those only show to me, had to make a new imgur for them...

    imgur.com

In case all the below only renders for me, that's the link.

Hand used for a handstand (I filed the base model's elbow for additional articulation on the inside edge):

The hand and wrist piece, in use transformed to the same dimensions of the original swivel-only hand:

The titanmaster figure in a runner's starting position pose:

The main parts of the titanmaster, sans faceplate or swappable custom facial expression adapter:

The transformed titanmaster in head mode, along with an example of the swappable expression faceplate adapter and one expression in use:

Hope one way or the other that works! I had to help my dad transfer over his stuff from his old pc to a new one, or I would have seen your reply earlier! Sorry about that!

Also, I was planning to do my own custom of Nautica using Scourge as well (which is what drew me to your wonderful work in the first place!), so I'll definitely be buying your files, though it may be quite some time before I get around to printing them, as the figure itself is boxed up right now along with a lot of other custom work figures and parts.

Nice! I actually have been considering making a more poseable Titanmaster, too! I was thinking of making the hips ball joints instead of simple swivels but I was worried making it so poseable at such a small scale would make the entire thing too fragile and fiddly. I might give it a go after all.

And when I was initially designing the arms, I was also thinking about doing the same thing for the hands! Putting them on a balljoint instead of a swivel, that is. The only reason I didn't is because I figured I could save some work and just use the existing ones as-is.

Yeah, they're solid with an FDM printer the way they're designed above, and could work with a ball joint in a few places from what I have in mind, but it does mean increasing the head size a bit more. As is, it is just slightly larger in some parts, but still fits snuggly in most titanmasters. I had been planning that the v3 posable titanmaster head figure would have its scale set how much that the rest of the gestalt team sizing would need to be, while trying to keep it close to the deluxe size from the titanmasters line... but I honestly didn't figure out how to get it to stay small enough without some machined parts that are more durable than even FDM plastic. It should be feasible, however, to put the ball parts on the leg portion of the hips, instead of the core body, and have hemisphere sockets to pop them into, possibly with the main body being in two parts, printed in a manner to enclose around the socket. It's kind of hard to say for sure without making new designs and running iterations to test them out. I now have a resin printer... but I still don't know how to use any of the 3d modelling software.

Awesome project. How is the durability of the resin you've been using to print your parts?

    Thanks!

Durability's been fine! It's just standard resin, not the ABS-like stuff you can get that's more resilient. The figure doesn't go through a lot of strenuous posing or anything so it suits my needs just fine. If it were bigger, I'd definitely get the tougher resin just so the joints are more resistant to wear and able to hold themselves up better but it's fine as-is.

If I had a 3D printer, i would totally sacrifice a Scourge for this project!

This is bloody fantastic :jawdropper: (pardon my French :D  ) !!! And makes me furious Hasbro didn't do this :banghead:
Things like this make me wish I could have a 3D Printer (multiple logistical reasons why I can't), this is awesome. You've done a fantastic job of recreating her :thumb

There's a rumour that that figure was originally going to be Override. Which would make sense considering, you know, Velocitron. The headsculpt even looks somewhat like her and the turbine/fan things look very last minute addition. I suspect changing her to Nautica was an opportunistic change.

    Looking great in both modes!

That would have been fantastic. The mold fits Override better.

There is a 3d resin called Tenacious. It is a very flexible resin. If you mix it 90% regular with 10% Tenacious it makes the resin way more durable for smaller items.

Well, my first printings failed on this. I upgraded my resin, got better results, and decided to finally try again. I haven't seen any photos from anyone's fully painted version, so I thought I'd upload some pics of mine. Love this figure!!!
