Not really a TFWiki joke, but still funny.  

 

Apologies if someone already posted this one; didn't feel like combing through the entire thread.

This one's just so randomly morbid and grotesque that it cracks me up

It really isn't that funny but for some reason I catch myself laughing at the thought of this one frequently.

 

I don't remember if it's still on the site because the staff have a habit of removing / changing descriptions but they imply Michael Bay has a poor opinion of women because.... he doesn't like Arcee the fictional robot character and as a result she didn't get to do much in ROTF.

Their commentary isn't what's funny, it's the leap in logic required to make the assumption he doesn't treat women nicely because of a fictional alien robot character. I'm positive Bay has flaws but the mental gymnastics to jump to THAT conclusion from how badly Arcee was utilized in ROTF (conveniently ignoring how basically all the characters in the movies are badly utilized) is fucking funny.

 

I love how, for a while - not sure if it’s still there - it talked about how Bay gleefully spoiled Arcee’s death in ROTF due to hating her (what a baby), and notes that Orci and Kurtzman later affirmed it in the DVD commentary.

“IDW then stuck up a big middle finger to this by presenting them all as alive during their post-ROTF comics.”

  loved it. Though it does now reflect that one of the cards listed Arcee as dead in AOE presumably to honor Bay’s wishes, I believe. Either way, loved it.

 

Why shouldn’t he exist? A quick repaint of Inferno whose originally toy is very rare and expensive.

Try browsing the site for more than a second. You’ll find something.

 

Pretty sure it's also cause of the way he treats real women in his movies? Like having them audition by filming them wash his car for example, that might be it, it might not be purely based on how he treated Arcee.
