Wow this make MP52 look sad. Also I posted your pic on Daimchocs thread. Credit given. I can move it if you want. But this is too good not to show people how much better DS is than MP. FB_IMG_1632022555504.jpg

Looking at those pictures I appreciate even more that his blue forearms disappear for alt mode. The way the arms disappear in the cartoon hasn't really been recreated often. I've only been thinking about the engineering of it to this point. This time it just struck me the aesthetic of the light blue being there on other Starscreams that the cartoon doesn't have.

Mine came with the head not fully snapped in place and had a lot more range. It surprisingly held on really well for not being fully attached. I thought I broke it when it finally came off while moving him all over. Maybe that's what's going on here cuz that is really far back!

DS-001 has wings, MP-52 has a hang glider.

This just convinced me to pre-ordered the MP52 KO. It can be my mid transformation screamer.

Finally transformed him. It's not as bad as I thought, the only parts that frustrated me were getting all the arms and those horrid back shoulder joints that move to the back have enough clearance to move around. Also part of the nose cone's transformation.

I tried to follow that Perfect Transformation video but couldn't really keep up with it, pretty much ended up brute forcing a few areas and it seems to work out.

The back of MP52 was so awful it is what made me cancel my 3 orders for it.

It's just their current design philosophy ever since MP-44 (with the exception of Hound, who had a different problem).

I'd rather have a bad back than breakage.

Well with MP-52 Takara was kind enough to make it so you wouldn't have to choose.

DS is the same height as takara's Shockwave.

Expect a cease and desist letter from Harmony Gold and Big West soon. They’re still sore about Jetfire too.

I am really excited to get my DS on soon.

Anyone else have tolerance issues with the null rays pegging in? Mine don't want to go in, thinking of sanding them down a little? Is there a better method?

Yes, I mentioned yesterday the pegs are a very tight fit on my copy. So tight that I'm worried about breaking the hinges for opening up the null rays at some point.

    Plenty have that problem.
I stripped the paint off on mine, sanded them down a bit and added a small amount of silicone shock oil.
    Perfectly toleranced now.
