Wasn’t sure I’d be interested when the store listings were leaked, but those look fantastic.

 

Waiting to see the whole line up. The 2 Jokers have the hair sculpt. Would have been nice to at least have some difference in that part.

Also interested in variants like if they give the Criminal his trench coat look.

 

Red Hood and Batgirl both look good. Might get them too.

 

Might get! Head looks a tad small, but a different angle might change that.

 

Batman looks good too. Would like to see a version of that mold with a longer ears on the cowl though.

In other news, Target finally shipped my Gunslinger Spawn. Was getting worried there it was going to end up canceled.

Don't think it has so much to do with Todd being bat happy as it does with this being "batman day". I didnt know bat.an had a day either but mezco also is doing something because it is batman day according to their email.

 

Yeah, I realized that after I posted. It’s still kind of funny out of context. Oddly there wasn’t enough product on his site I was interested in, or didn’t already have, to take advantage of the promo.

 

I see the 3 jokers might have me redo Gangsta Spawn.....

 

Got Gunslinger Spawn. The $25 MSRP….guessing goes towards the unique sculpt and paint. Mask has some weathering. One would think the lower leg spikes would get in the way when bending the double knee joints all the way but due to being soft plastic, they don’t block much range. Thigh swivels aren’t very functional but when swiveled out further, enable the hips to raise about 60-80 degrees. When swivels inwards they swivel about 45-60 degrees. Ball jointed waist gives pretty good movement, especially if you were to pose this figure in midair shooting.

Is it worth picking up? I’d say so but wish it was $19.99. The weapons are flimsy. Would’ve been cool if the knife was removable also but it’s molded as one piece with the sheath and leg strap. Wrist movement is a little hinderd due to the sculpt of the hands. I do like how the arms are able to stay neutral against the body without the jacket making them angle outwards.

Same here, I want to but they just look bad. I might have to get Andre though, he really was awesome in the movie.

Batgirl looks rad, like really good, one of the best aesthetic-wise toddymac figures to date IMO as a casual.

 

I already made him just thinking about redoing him using a possible Joker base instead of the Wildcard Fortnite body I used

So above Cyborg I'm going to transform into Cyber Noob. Below I'm going to mix these 3 and create Kid Spawn. Deku will be the base, I haven't decided which Robin I will use as a head, I kinda want to keep the hood from Damien, and I'm going use the lower arms of RK. From there it'll be whatever I can also come up with, I might use the feather part of RK as well, def in the idea stage before I start painting.

As of right now I have 7 customs to finish by Jan1. The goal is to finish out the year of Spawn and then I'm going to share my custom Spawn collection with Todd McFarlane. I don't expect him to respond but I just want him to see my love of Spawn

I'm gonna go a tad bit unique on this ones paint scheme, still red white and black but not in the traditional sense, kinda like how Jessica She Spawn is an opposite color scheme to the tradition. Heck Medieval is blue instead of black, Raven is brown and black, Mandarin got all kinds of colors, so I'm trying to get out of the idea of the Traditional Spawn colors while still keeping the essence of this is Spawn
