SOCRE! Found a lone Cheetor with his wave mates.

 

If anyone has this guy and Transmetal 2 Cheetor, can you please do a comparison so I can see them both and decide which one to get?

I\'m not huge on the Cyberverse line but I get what it is and it has produced some cool figures. I actually think this is one of the best Cheetor robot modes, despite the more animated design for this line. Probably the one that\'s most show accurate paint job, even compared to Beast Wars. If I get him I\'d probably keep him in robot mode and maybe just remove the tail.
Along with the night slash cheetor references I’m getting real Drift vibes from him. Especially that pic posted with the swords.

 

If I'm honest I'd recommend Cyberverse Cheetor. TM2 Cheetor is not that great, hunched and kind of unposable in both modes, and can be hard to find a sample without flaked chrome. I think strictly as a toy Cyberverse is better, despite its simplicity.

 

So then just get him, spring for a Maximal reprolabel sheet and then ok?

 

I would. Hell, if you even need a Maximal symbol. You might be good enough just taking off the Autobot logo if it really bothered you, since Cheetor's symbols were typically on his forehead and thus not super visible.

I had that same thought actually. Was going to dig out my original BW toy ones and see how it looks.
I don’t know if it’s just me, and ignoring the Cyberverse show for the moment, he almost looks like an older version of his original BW self, with some Tigatron features in the face, a little more bulk, weapons that require more combat skill. Just some cool ideas in my head with this figure. I really think he’s my favorite Cheetor (robot mode).

 

I could almost see Cyberverse Cheetor, style aside, working as a post-BM Cheetor. Like you said, he's bulkier and has more wizened features, with the swords and broader upper body that recall his BM form.

 

Got him at Walmart this morning, he was only $13 which really surprised me. He's pretty cool. The way the robot arms fold into the chest for beast mode kinda confused me, the instructions are so small I could barely tell what I was supposed to do...I think I got it right.


Armored cheetah mode reminds me of Battle Cat's design from the 2002 MOTU cartoon.

 

I tried cheetah mode once and took longer than it probably should have to get the arms on there right. Almost looked better to just have them go straight back with the spots facing out. Made him a little bulky but looked whole.

In case anyone is wondering the tail does come out real easily if you just pull it forward between his legs in robot mode.

 

Found this guy tonight at Walmart, but Not because I wanted to. It was the only Transformer on the entire shelf. It was hiding behind a jurassic park section. Dumb.

So.....anyway....

CYBERVERSE - DINOBOTS UNITE - DELUXE - CHEETOR

Damn near tossed this toy across the Dennys parking lot. Its a nightmare to get his ribs to peg in their slots.

 

So I removed those stupid side flip parts that were a pain in my ass.



Now I can better position his front cheetah legs in bot mode while also giving him a leaner look. Also stretched him a bit more to better peg in his cheetah head in bot mode while making him a little taller.





Now I like him. If only there was a way to hide that stupid looking gigantic vampire collar looking thing, then his head would actually be worth posing.

Oh...well... Cant win'em all I guess...

Thanks to Kiki's Loose Joints solution I was able to make it so cheetor can now use the claws without the stress of them just loosely falling off as they did before.
