As has occurred for every release ever from Amazon Japan, they always give a random initial date in the middle of the month, then send out these emails later when Takara gives them the firm date.

 

Good indicator of things being on track.

 

Amiami still has them pegged at November 2021.

 

As they should. Because there has been NO change of the release date.

 

So the previous bump getting a reupdate meant?

 

The exact same thing that happens every single time with an MP from Amazon Japan. Also literally 2 posts above yours.

TT initially solicits the item with a release date of "End of *insert month*". So AJ, who are really the only site to give an actual delivery date, instead of the usual *Insert Month* that most sites do, basically make up a day at the end of the month. And say "Estimated delivery by..." Then, when AJ gets the actual release date from TT, update the listing. AJ then sends out the email to all buyers sayings it's a "delay", because it's being delivered to the customer on different date than what they originally were quoted. More often than not, it's just a day or two different. And sometimes it's even an earlier date.

And every single time, this exact conversation comes up. Without fail. It'll happen when Nightbird is released too.

 

simply that the company that sent it out had the wrong date and now they are inline with the release date that most of the other sellers already had posted. so it was the one seller that was wrong, and they were correcting themselves, not that the date had actually changed.

 

Okay. Amiami does the same but strangely, for this, they like did not update me via email and the the November ETA still the same.

 

I still can’t believe I’m getting a ‘tracks and roadrage’ at the same time. And just over a month!!! A new mold based off the toon (lol yes I know) and the Diaclone together? Wild!

Also I’ve been wanting to say this for a while. The locations, and disappearance, of affiliation symbols are becoming too hard to not call out. Sunstreaker being the first that I can remember. The center of the hood of the car just disappears! And There’s no symbol on the feet in bot mode. Genius.

Now I’m really drawn to the autobot symbol drawn to the collar under the necks or t Re Diaclone toy coming out. I’m excited

As i was guessing, you can recreate the toon shoulder by not rotating the piece. Cool!

 

I don\'t know exactly what it is, but I really like this design. It has the aesthetic I believe an MP should have, a bit of toon, a bit of toy, a bit of realism, all in balance. 

And it doesn\'t look like an absolute nightmare to transform. Always a plus! 

 

He looks nice, but it's pretty obvious why this mold was so inexpensive. Haven't seen anything this simple since MP-12.

 

Honest to god mate, how many minutes did you spend with the figure before shooting this review? 5 minutes? Once to robot and back?

 

I totally forgot I have him ordered from AJ! I love the old style MP figures like this. I can’t stand the overly toony ones which caused me to get out of the MP game (that and the prices). Now I only get the retro Diaclone characters.

 

I didn't watch the review, what happened?

I know it's such a pet peeve of mine to see reviewers rush to get a review out, and miss something crucial which results in them bitching and moaning and complaining about a figure....when it's 100% user error.

Anyway, I digress.

 

Nothing out of the ordinary but to me it was clear the reviewer barely had knowledge of the figure prior to shooting; the arm transformation had him pretty much just trying anything to get them out from under the bonnet. I also got vibes that the whole thing was rushed during the leg and backpack transformation too.

 

Does this handsome lad have a profile available yet? I'd love to know what his whole deal is since Takara tends to come up with original characters that outdo anything from IDW or Hasbro's TV department.
