Anyone have a metallic version of this figure for sale?

 

I’ll admit I’m a nervous nelly when it comes to FOMO. That said, I’ve seen preorders for the blue chrome but haven’t seen anything about the red chrome ever coming back. Hoping for red as I want to display them with the G1 toys but am starting to wonder if I should just get the blue at this point.

FOMO got the best of me. Just put a preorder for the blue one because ShowZ said Giga had no plans to release the red one at this time. I guess I can always sell the blue one if red is eventually reissued.

 

I don’t have the blue, but that chrome blue Gaudenter does look gorgeous. I was fortunate enough to get the last red version on Show.z this year (metallic, not chrome) and, while I’m pretty happy with it, I find that chrome blue very tempting. Holding off so far.

 

Hey guys, I need some opinions. Call me crazy but it looks like Gaudenter's face has changed. Am I seeing things or is this an old picture?

I'd really love to know why GP didn't use that face then. It's far superior to the low mouth/narrow eyed version they released. It's weird that Show.Z changed their PO picture to this if it isn't going to have this face.

Came to this thread wondering about the red chrome. Seems you guys are in same boat as me. I just wanted red cause it matched. Kinda like the purple bombshell. Made more sense. but might just pull the trigger on blue as I’m so close to completing the set

 

I prefer the red because it matches as well. Feels more like a complete set to me. Plus in the comics he was red as well so there’s some connection there

 

i doubt they will change the face at this point. They are a bit of a wonky company in how they market their stuff. In the beginning it was pretty good, but now who knows what they will do with their product line. I sold off the weathered ones I had because there was just not much of a difference. \

Anyone need some of these. I am selling off excess stuff and I have never used the stands. Not sure if I will keep perhaps just one for diorama purposes. Not sure what they are worth if anyone needs one or more.... FYI

If there is enough interest I will post better pics than a crappy iphone pic. LOFL!

 

I just got my HQ-05R Gaudenter (Blue), he's amazing, unfortunately no rocket effects nor stand spot lights. Does anyone know where I can buy these separately? Thanks!

 

The spotlights with remote were only included in the first run. I have them but honestly they're not worth using in my experience.

 

Man...whose leg do I gotta hump to get a visor face for this? All the normal 3d print guys have let us GP collectors down. I can send someone a head to model it on if it'll help.

Those were included in some of the initial releases and I doubt they will ever be produced again. Good luck in the hunt

 

I thought those were for the Metallic version. Chrome never got those, first or any other release. It's like all Metallic Gigas come with a flame sword add on. Only 3 or 4 metallic chrome have a flame.

 

Pretty sure only two did. At any rate, I only have two. Chrome Slag/Grassor had his. And then chrome Sludge/Graviter came with the flame sword parts meant for Snarl/Guttur.

 

You're most probably right. I get real confused on the Giga names and swords

 

Just to make it extra confusing, Snarl's flame effect does fit on Sludge's sword. But if you look closely, you'll see that the flame is molded to fit the notches at the end of Snarl's sword. Plus that flame effect leaves about a centimeter at the base of Sludge's blade uncovered.

 

Small update on the ShowZ website:

Nice to see a date appear. Sad to expect a price increase for holiday shipping. I'm a patient guy who would wait out a SAL shipping order for 90 days without going insane. Good times....
