In the broader perspective, they are both forms of self gratification. So to me they are the same concept. Just in different forms.

    1. It's only $200
    2. Facebook them and ask about paint colors and finishing, people do it all the time. Like with MMC figures lazyaza tell us all the color codes to match the paint.
    3. You're entitled to your own opinion, as am I.

    0. You obviously didn't read what I said about painting. It's matching the finish not the color.
    1. 200 dollars isn't just an "only".
    2. I don't havefacebook
    3. You are, but your ability to use analogies is still lacking and that's not an opinion.

EDIT: I feel number 3 may have come off harsher than it was meant. Let me try to explain by using an analogy that might work better than your own.

The poorness of your cake analogy is like diarrhea, we can get into it but I don't think anyone want us too.

In this I likened your initial analogy to diarrhea something that many are familiar. Since few enjoy the Hershey Squirts and consider them bad I've now linked those bad feelings to your initial cake analogy, effectively saying that your analogy was a bad one.

I'm not doing this to make fun of you or anything like that. I'm doing this in hopes of getting you to stop doubling down on that analogy and realize how ineffective it was at communicating your thoughts, and hopefully to try again with one that better communicates your message.

They really aren't the same though. You're comparing a perishable food item with a collectable object that is designed to last (hopefully) a lifetime or even longer. We aren't talking apples and oranges it's more apples and statues.

(Also I don't know about everyone else but regardless of how much we spend on our collections $200 is a fair chunk of money so saying it's "only $200" makes no sense in context as when we pay that much for one item we shouldn't need to paint it.)

Anyhow if you want to use analogies to explain something maybe try coming up with something that isn't utterly illogical.

'it's 'only' $200'???? Jesus, privileged much? It takes me 2 months to get that kind of disposable money.

Not privileged, more so lucky. High school economic teacher taught us about stocks and told us all to look into Amazon in 2004. So myself and parents bought Amazon stocks with money I saved up cutting neighbors grass for college tuition (but I got 100% of college paid for from all the solarships I applied for). Each share in 2004 was for $18 a share. Each share is about $3450 now.

I got you covered there I messaged them about why they changed it yesterday so we'll see if or when they'll get back to me.

Do not let these people get to you. I understand your analogy perfectly. All you were doing was trying to help them out. But most of the time people really don't want to hear it and they just want to complain. It is not an excuse, but this is just how the culture of many societies have evolved into sadly.

That is honestly not needed. Your disgusting talk is just another form of cyber bullying.

Comparing two unlike things is a logical fallacy. Just like a strawman argument or a "no-true-scotsman" statement. It doesn't actually prove his statement. They have nothing to do with each other.

Again I hope respond back to me cause I would actually like to know the reason they changed it. And also looking at the piece from when they showed a painted version of the figure it kind of looks like it would be easy-ish to have the piece be interchangeable for whichever version you want. I haven't watched all of the review that out so I can be "surprised" or experience the transformation myself so that video could show it to be harder or easier than it looks from the photos.

Or you know, say “I wish it had rainbow sprinkles like it had on the box,” which is reasonable, but have some dude like you blow it out of proportion and jump down people’s necks for preferences.

I never said it wasn't reasonable, all I did was give examples of how to fix the issues. Sorry you misunderstood this eventhough I stated I am just trying to be helpful and give examples to how to fix it. My intention was pure, but people seem to be stuck in a mindset that even if you're try to help they still don't want to hear it and only want to complain.

Yeah looking back at his orginal message he did state, "don't take this the wrong way, just trying to be helpful and finding solutions to fit the issue". Honestly people are still a little stressed and on edge due to the pandemic. So it easy to tigger someone and for them not to see it as help. I understand what he ment and so did the many others that liked his post.

Anyways this figure look spectacular. Let's hope as we are getting hands in different colors we also get that piece in different colors. Wonder what the extra add-on pieces will be. I hope it's an MTMTE / LL style Head and chestpiece... and shoulder piece (more than likely not this.) Then I would have to buy 2 for both the MD style and MTMTE style.

Could be an extra neckpiece that's red, could be maybe a flame effect for the sword or Dino head but yeah it could be MTMTE pieces since they said in a reply that they're working on an MTMTE version but it sounds more-so that it would be it's own figure and not a retool but who know's if they mean't they where working on including them with Cacus.
