Same for me with Mirage/Grimlock set. I want Mirage, but dont care to have Grimlock. I caved and bought both sets. Will sell off Grimlock and Skywarp once i get the sets.

This restock today was nice, lots to choose from. I took advantage and moved on a few Star wars and Marvel Legends figures they restocked as well.

 

I learned the hard way that having something in your cart doesn't guarantee you anything. Was looking for something else to add to Wreck-gar for free shipping and it sold out right under me. Consider me annoyed.

 

Bleh. Literally the only two I needed, Wreckgar and Red alert, are the only ones OOS. I'm less bummed about wreckgar because at least he has a wide release. But Red Alert?? F Walgreens man. They never have ANY transformers stock.

 

Next time add a preorder along with Wreck Gar to meet min free shipping threshold. When Wreck Gar ships, cancel the preorder.

 

So my Tricranius Blast Effects pack shipped, but the other item in the order was SS86 Sweep and its status is "preparing for shipment".
Is this normal language for a preorder that will just come later on, or should I expect it to actually ship soon?

 

Still says ETA of 1/1/22 for me. Is there a checkbox by the Sweep(s).

 

I had separate tabs open for every item I wanted (Wreck-Gar, Red Alert, G2 Ramjet, and Sideswipe/Skywarp cos I still hadn't bought it on Amazon), refreshed them at 1:01 and was checked out by 1:02. Huzzah!

If you have a checkbox by the item, then they have not charged you for it. The checkbox is for you to cancel the item.

 

I got global customer care reply today. I assume it has a return label as there is a file attachment i cannot open with my phone and says drop off with post office and once returned will issue me a refund. I also saw galvatrons back in stock on pulse but think I'll just pay more to get a guaranteed correct shoulder version but will wait and see on victory saber first. Plus i want to make sure get pulsecon ravage and zartan and wave 4 deluxes, tigatron, and puffer and road rage.

 

Red Alert is back in stock.

I finally caved and bought Galvatron with the restock since I've yet to ever see him in person, much less on shelves.

Forgive me if this is the wrong place to ask, but has Pulse had a good track record of shipping units with the correct shoulders? That was the main reason I was holding out to find him in store so I could verify.

Now that I've got a bit caught up on the thread, I'm a bit concerned about my Galvatron order. Does pulse cover the shipping fee for sending back a return? I'm honestly considering canceling my order now because I feel similar to you, I really have no interest in keeping a broken figure, should that be what they send me.

 

The figure isn’t broken, just misassembled. It really doesn’t bother me in hand, though I plan on getting a version with corrected shoulders at some point.

 

Pulse pawned me off the Global Care CS...Hasbro did provide a USPS parcel select GND shipping label which means it will prob take a month to get from Lex, KY to Pawtucket RI to Hasbro Inc. Some people didnt mind the shoulders making him look slouched, or flipped where he looks like he has unusually wipe armpit gaps...me I just can't. And I have no patience to pop a pen joint and stress the plastic to rotate the joint right. if it had been screws and I could have disassembled the whole arm apparatus I wouldn't have cared. I ended up doing that on a planet x Vulcun that had his talons flipped on one wrist...of course it was later I noticed the other arm was missing every screw in his forearms anyways...so glad bbts gave me a full refund without return but still bugs me I cannot fix him because no one can tell me the exact size of screw used. So even though it works and holds together, that figure would be just the way I feel about a wrong Galvatron...he would sit there on a shelf in the back, never played with and I would get angry every time I see him knowing hes not right. At least vulcun ended up being free though. My advice, if it bothers you, cancel and try to get one in person. Because its gonna be a 50/50 chance which you get shipped and could end up with 10 in a row wrong before you get 1 right. If it don't bother you, keep it, complain and maybe they will let you keep it and replace it with another figure.

 

Just wanted to mention, in response to the bolded section, that the height of the shoulders has to be one of those two options whether they're misassembled or not. All the misassembly changes is which side of the shoulder faces forward at each of those heights, not the actual heights the shoulder can sit at.
