We’re getting Junkyard next year in SS86. Nothing in Selects, mind you, but since we only know about Siren and Black Zarak being released in 2022 so far, anything’s possible for the remaining figures that haven’t been revealed yet. I’d like a Scrapheap, myself.

 

In addition to Junkyard, I wouldn't be shocked if a load of upgrade kits are made to make both official releases into more characters. Might even be fun to swap parts between Wreck-gar and Junkheap while upgrading them to give even more variety.

 

I sure hope so. Kind of seemed like for RTS Wreck Gar outside of the Lucky Rogers upgrade kit, no one wanted to step on Maiden Japan when that mold came out, and as great as his work was, his business model left something to be desired, would love to see one of the bigger upgrade companies all over this version of Wreck Gar (though I swear I am going to limit my army this time). Upgrade kits could really kill my wallet on this guy.

 

Surprised how much I ended up liking this guy. Transformation is a lot more simple then I thought it would be, but satisfying.

I hate the character, but the figure is a win.

 

Mine arrived today. As I'm still working I can't even open the delivery box but I'm looking forward to him.

In addition to wreck gar, Road rage, g2 megs, gnaw, core dracodon, soundwave and slag with Daniel also showed up.

 

Yup got mine today from Amazon. I like this guy but I'm not sure how I feel about him compared to the RTS version. I'ma need more time with the new version I think.

 

Yeah, mine had the same nipple-protector. A good idea given all it would take is one good bump to dislodge, or even bend, the cannons.

Hopefully when mine arrives tomorrow the nipples will be very protected.

Since Amazon seems to be sending him out to other folks in those damn padded envelopes, he needs as much protection as he can get....

 

Got mine in yesterday, this guy is absolutely fantastic. Now the question is do I keep my old RTS, Combiner Wars Wreckgar and RTS scrapheap as a junkion army or move those on for another studio series Junkyard?

 

Mine arrived earlier today, and I'm happy to announce that he did indeed have that extra protection in his chest region.

 

I would keep them. Junkions aren't supposed to all be identical, and the RTS and CW look different enough that they won't stand out as the same guy. Can never have too many Junkions!

Yeah that’s the exact reason I’ve kept them so far so guess that makes sense to continue to do so. I’ve never been a big army builder collector so it had me thinking but for junkions that makes sense

 

Actually on this toy it seems the thicker wheel goes in the front.
