On the low end I saw $75 each, on the high end I saw a sold listing for $250 for both. If someone just wanted the regular sentinel, they could probably make almost $350 back selling both figures, the extra heads, hand, and maybe even the tentacles. The extra heads are going for like $50ish each and the damaged one closer to $100. The damaged hand for like $50.

Who's buying the heads and tentacles? The figures I get, but what's the need for accessories for the Sentinel itself? Diorama pieces?

The tentacles I could see people who want more than one for their Sentinel buying them since each Sentinel only comes with one. The extra heads and damaged hands could make nice diorama pieces if you're into that.

Yep. When they announced it, it was just one, but they added a 2nd during the campaign. Not even as a reward tier, they just added it.

Ah, didn't know they threw an extra one in. No idea why anyone would be buying extra tentacles then.

    Vault Guardsman. IMG_20210917_162233.jpg

Where most were probably pretty Meh on this Guy, this one has a special significance for me. It was the Toybiz VG that got me back into collecting in 1996 as part of whatever Spidey Line they shoehorned him into.

That was just a neon-green Iron Man repaint but it meant a lot to me, and lead to a lifetime of collecting.

The prospect of finally getting an "accurate" VG is a big deal. And........ IMG_20210917_162357.jpg

It's full of BS QC issues like this........warped and overly marbled plastic. IMG_20210917_162331.jpg

Mold degradation gaps at most of the cuts.... IMG_20210917_162324.jpg

Deformed blobs on the right foot - it's not paint that's the plastic. IMG_20210917_162249.jpg

And the kicker is that line on the mask that makes it look like he hasn't pulled the Speedos over his snout straight.

Yeah, I wanted this one to be special, and it's using bits of the shittier-than-shit Hyperion type buck that should have been consigned to the flames years back. With all the mold deg that comes with it.

But the metallic green is at least nice.

    Not to be recommended.

You know what would make a nice diorama piece? A giant, miscolored Dr. Doom head.

Seriously I wonder how much that's going to sell for, because I can't imagine who would pay a bunch of money for it. But if someone's buying...

Hey, no shame my man if that's what you need those tentacles for. Now, are you using them on yourself or someone else? ;)

Right? If it's selling for decent prices next year I may pop it up on eBay once my Galactus arrives. :lol

I'm getting 2, so I don't think I'll need extras, but I planning to have some of the parts laying on the ground. Having the damaged hand on the sentinel and then the regular hand cut off on the ground with the tentacle holding someone. I'd love to fashion like ripped out wires etc to plug into the bottom of a head.

I thought of buying another head to damage them more, or more specific like cut holes for Wolverine's claws and try to make it so he can hold himself in there.

Before the Sentinel campaign ended, I made a deal with a backer to buy one of his battle damaged heads for a diorama.
