While in this particular figure I do agree it feels a bit lazy/unfinished. They definitely have stepped up their game in the last few years since the release of Siege

i can never fault any one for wanting to wait for in hand video or pictures and if they happen after it is closed not on them especially if it ends up being a floppy mess

and the e-tailers will also have some stock as well for a short time after the campaign is closed

 

Transformers are hugely more expensive to develop than the other properties they've done HasLabs for.

 

If you put your 2nd copy on eBay with a starting bid of $1 and it sells for $300 is that a good thing or a bad thing?

 

Perhaps it might move the needle if we ask ourselves for a moment WHY we (as a rule) hate scalpers.

If the answer leans in the direction of "because people other than me are making money off of a toy," I suppose that is a viable way of looking at things, but I'd have further (off topic) questions about why such a thing should bother you.

If the answer leans in the direction of "because people have made it harder for us to find toys we should all have access to," I agree with you, if and when scalping occurs, but it wouldn't apply to Victory Saber.

And if the answer is "but I don't hate scalpers," that's cool, I guess. Peace to all, and all that. But I imagine there aren't too many of those folks on this forum.

Nah. The HasLab stand works for the robot modes as well. Even if they gave us the same elaborate stand arm with the shield setup, not only would the smaller shield base be inadequate for holding up the large robot form, it means you wouldn't be able to pose him on the stand and wield the shield.

And I, personally, was never a big fan of the MP shield stand anyways, since y'know, you're left with this shield floating in "space" on your tabletop.
