The Targets in Caesar's Bay and Bensonhurst are smaller stores and generally have nothing. There is one by gateway near JFK that supposedly has better inventory but it's far. With no Walmarts in NYC, there really are no stores for TFs.
There was a lone Retro Hardhead hanging out under the shelf but I did manage to grab one of the Tracks that were there. They had all the stock out on the floor and the only thing I could see was a Cyberverse Deluxe assortment on the bottom.
Oh, I know... Any other day, I wouldn't have even gone in I needed a couple of particular photo albums that "my" WM stopped carrying a couple of years ago , I was going to Riviera for a show, and that store just happened to be "close enough".
But you said... Can you explain that again? It doesn't quite make sense. You missed him by three months. All the Manhattan Targets, even the small ones, as well as the Brooklyn ones I stopped in had him, Kup, Hot Rod, Blurr and Jazz at the same time back then. It took about a month or so for all that stock to sell off. Herald Square usually sells out same day if they get anything interesting. I'm seeing the new open-windowed Cyberverse Adventure toys in Target now. Some SS Thrusts too.

I’m not sure what else to explain but I’ll try Someone here reported that there’s a person(s) that are creating fake UPS labels and putting them on the back of Star Wars figures, the fake labels are for Cheaper figures If they did the same thing for the Worlds Collide figure I was trying to buy, like let’s say for example place a UPC label for a cheaper Buzzworthy figure, it could explain the Cheaer price that originally first scanned on the do it yourself machine before the head cashier corrected it
What prob happened is u scanned it but it showed the item scanned previously before you. If the barcode was cover it would always show that price until the stick was removed and the real barcode was scanned. A check out person would only know the price if she knew the item. And if it scanned for a price they aren’t going to question it.
Perhaps......I just founded it funny that it originally came up cheaper then froze up needing to call over a head cashier to fix so when someone here mentioned the Bar code swaps with the star wars figures I thought maybe my issue was similar
No the Star Wars figs they were taking gifted they got on clearance from somewhere that aren’t in targets system anymore, putting a upc of current figures that are and returning to get a 20.00 store credit for a figure they paid like 5 bucks for. If someone changed a barcode on the set u say, they would have did it to purchase it which is also very illegal.
That’s not very different than what I was suggesting before Let me try to give you another example, back when I managed at Home Depot we had an issue with an Inventory count that left us missing seven pallets of an expensive Italian floor tile we eventually found out was that there was a customer that was switching the tags on the Pallet with those of a much cheaper tile And we also discovered seven more of these pallets with the tags already changed.....He later admitted that he would have someone else come in and change the tags in advance and he would come in and later do the purchase

Yes but that just limits the amount u return. Once you hit 100, u can still return but it has to be in that department on that visit, I think I know who it is, I saw this shady older guy with a wee figure acting weird outside his mini van with his girlfriend.
