Almost the entirety if the difference in height between Crimson Wings and Meteor is due to the fact that Meteor's head is only about half the size it should be. Their bodies are practically the same size.

 

Yeah, that’s a small head. Honestly, all 3 would are fine as anyone’s Starscream. We’re analyzing pretty small differences that won’t be noticed in displays.

 

Now all we need is a Starscream bigger than Deformation Space but smaller than the Robot Hero OS KO's and we'll finally have a show-accurate range of scales.

for me i think ds starscream is just a tad too tall/big , mp52 is a tad too short i just don't understand why takara didn't make it bigger than its predecessor missed opportunity and looking at Teletran-1's comparison pics maketoys looks like a good height it's inbetween the other 2 but fuck does that figure look shit next to the other 2 and those tiny baby hands  

back to this i really hope is mp-13 size i have always seen soundwave as a big bot

At that moment when Deformation Space made a perfect transforming Starscream figure.  

 

I don't know what you call those things next to his head but it seems hardly anyone is pushing them upright like the cartoon in most pictures. That's the first thing I did.

Wondering about the height of this guy myself. Like it or not, the new Starscream has altered the size dynamics of the Decepticon commanders, and I'm desperately hoping this new Soundwave will at least be as tall as MP13. If not... I'm giving up and going legends scale. At least I won't have to replace my entire line-up of mp seekers for the second bloody time.

 

I wonder why it needs charging?

 

It's definitely frustrating that the one major impact of this figure's rebranding is the fact that it isn't posed next to any FT branded figures in promo material, thus drastically stretching out the length of time we need to wait to find out how big it is.

But anyway, there's also a pic of Tesla 2.0 next to Koot:





And here's Koot next to MP-13:

 

Rough guess, but he looks to be a tad taller than MP 13. Tesla v2 seems to come to the top of the tape panel.

 

Yeah and Koot is even with the top of the tape panel on MP-13, and looks like he comes up to Tesla 2.0's shoulder, which is lower than the top of the tape panel on Acoustic Wave. So unless that initial picture is out of date and they shrunk Acoustic Wave significantly, he should be bigger than MP-13.
