Not necessarily an issue with GameStop. I’ve had good QC experience with what I’ve bought from them.

This about sums it up. That said, Grindor is a bit notorious for having inconsistent QC as it is.

 

Artfire has had it's "Expected Date" moved to 10/5.

Honestly though? I dont mine the expected dates moving around. Gamestop isnt setting one hard date like amazon, walmart, target, etc. It works if Gamestop updates it, which theyve been doing as things show up late/early, they get new ETA's. They have a direct account with Hasbro, so i'd assume they'd get pretty frequent updates. I at least feel updated when they change the date. They changed G2 Ramjets from the 8th to the 10th, which makes me think that they are just waiting on the pallet of them to show up, but it hasnt yet. Either way, I like the idea.

 

Galvatron is still awaiting product availability even though I ordered it while it was in stock.

 

I would cancel, honestly. I’m three seconds from cancelling my Slag preorder. I’d rather just pay full retail and get it now then gamble on a discount.

 

That's the case for numerous people according to a GameStop cs chat rep last month.

If they offered a cancellation at the start, they might have been directed to do so. It could also just be exasperation as I'm sure their CS is probably overrun with pissed off customers right now. Generally speaking though, offering a cancellation in retail is a last resort even if you've demanded one. Price matching, discounts, coupons, etc. will typically be offered because it's better than a total loss of revenue from a lost sale. In addition to that, the complaint and/or cancellation eventually goes high enough to where everyone under that level gets buried in a mountain of shit for "not making it right".

It's conjecture but, it's not a good sign if they are trying to get people to cancel at the start of the conversation.

They'll have to pry my $40 preorder out of my cold dead hands though . . .

 

I called asking why my preorder wasn’t filled when they had him “in stock”. Given the same “sorry”. Definitely not Amazon CS.

This has happened to me before with the $50 Skylynx. They oversold it and they eventually cancelled my pre-order. Then a few weeks later, they had "stock" at a higher price. By then, I've already moved on and got my figure from Walmart.com.

 

Damnit! Thanks for the heads up. At least I still have it preordered at elsewhere.

 

I believe other online stores would also have the set available. It's always good to have an alternative order.

I ended up cancelling my “In stock” Slag order at GameStop. Hate to miss the $40 price, but my preorder at BBTS came in. I don’t trust GameStop would actually fill it.

 

They did for me.

My $40 Kingdom Galvatron shipped out today. Please keep in mind that I ordered it when it was $49.99 a day or two before it went on sale and then requested a price adjustment after it went on sale.

 

Has anyone who ordered from them recently gotten things shipped from the York, PA location? I have an order that's coming from them and it hasn't uodated from "Arrived at Fedex Location" since monday night. Was supposed to arrive yesterday
