Out of curiosity is there a list of the fixes because I was thinking I noticed odd things I didn’t recall seeing in my DVD’s. And yea, I’m eager to see if they post the Japanese episodes…probably not. The subs weren’t the best on the DVD.

 

Yes, now I can watch Webworld and Burden Hardest to Bear whenever I want!!  

 

Here’s a crazy idea! What if they don’t upload the rebirth but headmasters instead? What if this is part of a plot to retcon the rebirth with an actual 4th season?

Don’t mind me, I’m going crazy with my tin foil!

 

In all seriousness, I hope they consider putting the Jpn G1 series up eventually.

 

Headmasters is actually a pretty decent show. It's pretty alright but its light years ahead of S3 and 4.

 

I have no negative feelings towards it myself, except for the fact it killed off Optimus prime early on after he just came back to life. I do think the show had some cool ideas myself.

 

Especially the episodes not animated by AKOM  

Shout also released the JG1 cut. And yup, aside from the JP dub difference, the chronology was changed (Ultimate Doom with "Skyfire" is relegated to the last) and the run time has edits to allow for JP ads and some narration. As for the errors, more or less it carried on to the JP broadcast.

As for TF 2010, again, not sure if the chronology was corrected.

 

NGL, if Hasbro Pulse does plan to have some of the Japanese shows with English dub (Such as Car Robots, Micron Legend, Superlink, etc), I kinda wish that they could give you the option for watching the original Japanese version of those show with English subtitles (Instead of just have the English dub on, and called it a day).

 

I doubt they'll do so unless they have official subtitled sources readily available. And I don't believe they do.

 

Once you get past the show's treatment of legacy characters and some of the show's other issues, Headmasters isn't so bad.

It's still up in the air if Hasbro is even able to officially put up RID2001 let alone a straight subbed version of Car Robots, but if they were going to put up something from the Unicron Trilogy it would likely just be the Armada, Energon, or Cybertron versions.

They're going to be subtitled only, most likely. They won't even pay for decent voice actors in their new content, why would they do it for 20+ year old content?

 

NGL, I can already see Pulse only put up Armada, Energon, and Cybertron if they would ever get to the UT show; Which is expected but still sucks, as I find Micron Legend to be a superior show to Armada, and does a lot of things right but unfortunately always get some undeserved bad rep thanks to how the rushed nature of the Armada English dub is what it would be associated with forever.

The Micron Legend fansub (By Karyuudo Fansubs) do exist and it's very good, but the availability of that fansub is dubious at best; So I figure a more wide-scale, publicly available stream of Micron Legend would've done so much to redeem the show's reputation among more fans.

 

Plus, you know, they already had decent voice actors 20+ years ago on the English versions.

You can prefer Micron Legend to Armada, but generally they are not all that different, or at least not different enough for Hasbro to ever officially do a fansub or upload both versions. Best you can hope is that maybe Karyuudo's become easier to obtain for you again someday.

Nothing but a Black Cyberverse Hot Rod left in stock. That's the better of the 2 black versions they made of him (articulation sucked on both). My Walmart has one of those that won't sell as well, he was a cool character in the show. I'm sure he could make some kid happy.
