They actually shipped twice without an outer box. I complained the first time that I got a return item with missing bits and they were palming off as brand new. No outer box or protection is asking for orders to be either damaged or tampered with. After complaining, they send a replacement and ship it in exactly the same way. No outer box. Defies logic.

The best order I’ve had through Amazon was for X-spanse. That travelled from west coast USA to the east coast, then on to me in England UK. It was put in a large Jiffy bag. I can confirm the box was rather crumpled. You’d think someone would use some common sense and go will this survive that journey with FA protection.

 

This one is getting fully G1 Toyed out.......

My Sideswipe/Skywarp set finally arrived. Sideswipe is an amazing figure. I swapped out the white shoulder cannon for the black one that came with Siege Sideswipe. I was less thrilled for Skywarp since I already have the original BW version. But it is a fun figure.

Two of my online orders got delivered almost at the same time. Got the Battle Across Time Skywarp and Earth Mode Sideswipe, Transmutate, and Crossover Gigawatt.

So, the Battle Across Time duo... I'm really not feeling them. Sideswipe really doesn't feel different enough from the normal retail release to justify the price point, and Skywarp... ugh. Like, I was really hoping he'd look better in-hand, but this is not a very good repaint. The eyes of the beast mode in particular are really, really bad. While I appreciate the headsculpt including the Magnaboss eagle head with it, this is an impulse purchase I really should have skipped. Probably gonna get rid of these two. Good thing I saved the box, at least.

Transmutate, on the other hand, is a stellar repaint. I'm actually kinda surprised how well this mold works for the character. All I had to do was swap the shoulder and hand parts for the "gun" hand, and suddenly, it looks just like her. And somehow, her alternate mode being a freaky skeleton, that can't actually transform without partsforming... like, if you were going to do a beast mode for this character, I certainly can't think of a better choice. She's absolutely going on my Beast Wars generations shelf.

And Gigawatt? Dang. I own several various crossover Transformers, and Gigawatt is EASILY the best one of the bunch. I love how packed with details and references he is. My only gripe is that I'm not a fan of how the white battery thingy from his car mode just blatantly partsforms to attach to the gun, but that's literally the only thing I can complain about.

Got G2 Ramjet in finally from BBTS. Don't think I can squeeze anymore on this shelf. Have Apeface, Snapdragon, Kingdom Sideswipe and Skywarp coming in by Monday. Granted Skywarp will just stay in the box or sold.
