Oh yeah, I think this is a nice little set overall. I mean, I think the proportions of MS Devastator look better from the pics I've seen, but everything on the NA version fits together well, way better than the MS Stunticons. Though its funny the varying degree of... "lockedness" between the different members though. Like Hook and Long Haul are really locked in there (though Long Haul is totally unnecessary). Scavenger and Mixmaster have multiple lock points. And let me say, I'm actually surprised about how intricate Mixmaster's conversion to leg mode is, like I had never tried converting him to leg mode before this, but I was unaware of so many little pieces I was unaware of on him, like the part that plugs into the two holes at the top of the cab (I thought those were just for weapon storage in vehicle mode!) or the back "toes" hidden within the thighs.

I do wish there was more to Scrapper's lock point than closing his legs/rear around Devastator's knee tab, since its relying solely on the two halves being staying tabbed, But I'm amused Bonecrusher doesn't even require any transformation from bulldozer mode other than pushing the canopy down, he just plugs straight in. I also like you can quick change between visor and non-visored moded without having to change heads or faces. I think my only real annoyance with combined mode is the thigh ratchets, its a little too wide between clicks.

No extra faces or heads. I hear that might be with the EX-version?

Somehow I end up watching a BSF review (so fuck me, first off) where he accuses NA of rushing to market, and there’s a bunch of redesign and qc issues as a result. Now as a MS devy guy, I keep a pretty good hater-esque eye on this thread — obviously I know about the feet being remade. But I’m not sure I’ve read much about qc issues in here.
I don’t want this spread what he was talking about so… any qc issues?

Not following the MS Devastator thread so... only their Mixmaster and Scrapper have come out so far? And they are the only ones that already have public videos?

Let’s not turn ANOTHER thread into “this reviewer sucks and here’s why”.

Too many threads get closed due to this and it’s not worth anyone’s times.
    Let’s just stay on topic:
The only (widespread) issue I’ve seen is Scrappers chest piece pin not being quite as sturdy as it should and the chest panel falls off. Another would be Bonecrushers ankle slider joints being quite tight and causing stress. That’s all I’m aware of.

A couple reviewers have broken Scrapper’s chest piece. Deluxe Baldwin did too.

Just the Scrapper chest pin that's a poor design. I mentioned it when I first got the set and some others here have as well. It's a great set. Kinda funny if Bobby's still trying different ways to create drama for views.

I had my fix ready before I ever received them - I bought two sets so I wouldn't have to transform them. :)  Well, no more transformation, just the one I received went into altmode and the pin is holding well enough for now, hidden underneath the frontloader chassis in that mode.

I had no issues with Scrapper's chest. It's a bit hard to figure out what you're supposed to do with it, but once I looked at thr instructions it was pretty straightforward.

Same here, no issues on the chest or the legs. I always wonder y people always used brute force to play with their toys like no brainer can they just be a bit more delicate when handle all the toys or read the instructions first before like those Japanese toy reviewers.

The issue is the pin is set very firm from the factory and requires a good amount of force to slide the chest piece it attaches to the torso during transformation, however, the pin is also fairly shallow and doesn't have a ton of depth to grip and stay in place while also being smooth enough to slide. As a result, many are finding the chest piece falling off into their hand after sliding it. What would have avoided this issue is putting a slight head on the pin that captures it into the torso, while still allowing it to slide.

Yeah, add me to the “my Scrapper chest is fine” list. Maybe I just got lucky? Not sure how prevalent the issue is.

That said, anyone with a defective Scrapper has my utmost sympathy, I know from experience what it’s like to have QC issues on a figure. Hope you folks can get the problem sorted to your satisfaction.

Yeah, Mixmaster and Scrapper are the only MS releases so far. FA lot of folks who ordered from China have gotten there's already. The North American retailers are only now getting their shipments, as apparently there were some factory delays, delaying the batches going to retailers outside of China. But yeah, I don't think we've seen vids of the other MS ones yet.

Heh, I'll be amused if NA gets any of their recolors out before MS finishes their set. Which I joke, but New Age does have a pretty high rate of output.

I also have not broken Scrapper's chest. I don't own him, but I still haven't broken it.
