What's the over/under on Showz's pricing for this guy?

If TFsource, Toydojo, and BBTS are all $249.99, my guess would be $229.99

    What do you guys think?

Maybe, but I know half of them end up barely any different after shipping or are sold out. My post was more so explaining why places like Tfsource still have him up. He is just really really expensive for what he is.

And the only reputable Chinese sites I’ve used always match American retailers weirdly (probably being forced to)

I just checked at Tfs express on guess on what it could be and I got aroun $223.99.

I see what you mean. And yeah, that's why I don't use Tfsource, especially for Fanstoys because of their high prices. Wait really? That is weird.

No Chinese retailer usually goes below TFS Express so I'd say Showz, baba etc won't be below $224.

Except both ShowZ and Baba at one time or another had/has Stomp/Soar for cheaper than TFS Express.

Yeah, but re-releases aren't selling super hot lately, I think they'll be just good enough to mildly turn heads from American retailers like $220-225. Who wants to bet be 5 imaginary internet dollars!?

They aren't selling partly because the stimulus has run out, rent moratorium has ended, etc, etc. I wouldn't deny that Soundwave will probably sell better than the Dinos, but at the same time, consumers are also facing economic headwinds that weren't there a couple of months ago.

We are slowly returning to the pre pandemic days.

This is why I've been saving up figures at TFS-EXPRESS. I'm gonna combine him with all my other stuff and save some coin in the process. Def one of the best parts about tfs-express

Likewise here. I have 8 figures coming from tfs express in one shipment on the cheapest / slowest shipping rate, which works out at around $12-$14 dollars per figure.

    YouTube (Handle):
Well it should be shorter (same height as MP-29), but as of yet there's no confirmation. Not sure what DS has to do with FT's scaling though, which is generally on the money. DS is the odd one out.

Idk about DS being the odd one out, a lot of people seem to prefer his size over Shorty-scream from TT.

A lot of people prefer the size of DS but he’s a bit tall compared to a few characters like MP Soundwave, seemingly the upcoming Acoustic Wave, MP Ironhide, MP Shockwave.

DS will be fine if you use FT shockwave, if Acoustic Wave isn’t smaller or if you give no shits about model sheet scales. (Which is cool by me). He’s quite a bit bigger than Meteor (which I think is probably the best height of all of them).

Well, as you can clearly see here by the example that I submitted, where Megatron and Starscream are standing on an even plane, that they are almost the same height. This evidence further justifies the fact that the DS is actually in scale and that all the previous efforts have been vastly undersized when compared to this rendition.

The shadow cast below his canopy also supports my notion that he did indeed possess a waist swivel in the animation, making only the Maketoys and the DS truly show accurate in this department.

I contacted dalianjj about your concerns on Acoustic Wave being too short standing next to DS. He said that FT will be sending you a set of Grimlock booties, free of charge, to calm you down. Problem solved. You’re welcome!

They better be coloured properly! But other than that, tell DJJ we have a deal and ask if he'll be the Godparent of my kid.
