    Transformers: Alliance (2009)

An Optimus and Lennox centered film where they handle damage control backlash as the government questions whether or not it was a good idea to make a human-robot alliance. Maggie and Glenn are now part of that alliance on the N.E.S.T technical division.

Meanwhile a new team of Autobots in the form of Sideswipe, the Triplets, Jolt and the Twins, all supporters of the autobot cause but with no fighting skills, begin their training; and are constantly underestimated and underused by the upper ranks, due to them being kinda clunky, not working too well as a team, and not as efficient as Prime, Ratchet, or Ironhide.

Bumblebee (who now speaks), would stay with Sam, having a very brief participation (Sam, that is) not being able to help the Autobots, but as a consultant a la Simmons in TLK.

We go to Cybertron as Starscream, the new leader of the Decepticons is seriously criticized for his lack of leadership skills, as well as being a possible suspect of Megatron's demise. Soundwave investigates behind his back, and sends Ravage to investigate the corpse. Finds remains of starscreams "missiles" or DNA match whatever thingy; to what he starts a revolution to bring their leader back, goes to earth and Starscreams pursuits the defectors.

This unleashes a fight that causes a lot of destruction and casualties, but soundwave manages to bring his master back. (The shard scene still happens but quicker and bigger) Megatron confronts Starscream as he says he noticed he attacked him along the Raptors in mission city, says he had his chance and ruined it. (You now see Starscream, that even in death there's no command but mine.)

To what starscream begs to be killed but he rather spare him, as he prefers to watch the one he wanted dethroned rise and lead, as well to learn his place as unaworthy of being a leader.

The Autobot A team is sent first and begins fighting the decepticons, but is quickly outgunned by them. Megatron and the rest of the decepticons wreck the naval base completely and hurt the Autobots, gravely injuring Prime, Ratchet and Ironhide in a big explosion. Lennox and his team are injured as well, The B team engages, but is easily defeated and manages to escape with their Fallen comrades grasping for help, for rescue.

Megatron orders to cease fire and retreat, in order to formulate a new plan for invasion, and go back to cybertron. There we meet shockwave (having his design from DOTM) who built a machine that could easily drain earth's resources to restore cybertron.
(due to the fact that the allspark army plan failed so now earth's resources should suffice Meg's desire for conquest). But the only thing to power it up should have an immense amount of energy, to what megatron says that he knows where to look for it.

The Decepticons reveal themselves to the world like in the movie, (with soundwave interfering the signal and megatron giving the message) and announce their new coming, giving the humans an opportunity to surrender and deliver their resources to restore cybertron.

Back on the Base, the B team check on their friends, and see that something inside Prime kept them from dying, but drained Prime to the point of comma, and not knowing how to bring him or the other two back.

They decide to take a stand, as they call Bumblebee to train them, and avenge their "fallen comrades" who are still low in energon, and protect the earth of the incoming invasion. Sam, Mikaela, and even Glenn and Maggie volunteer to receive a quick training to defend earth alongside N.E.S.T, as the army (you know bay would love it) prepares for the decepticons to arrive.

Sam goes home to farewell his parents, explainingthe whole deal In a similar way to both ROTF's Egypt scene and DOTM's R.V scene; and takes a last tour on his room before going to battle, he takes out his hoodie, and the sliver of the allspark falls into his hand, once again similar to the house scene in ROTF, but here he only touches it, the symbols go inside him, and says: "The Matrix." And faints.

He wakes up on N.E.S.T base quickly, and in his quirky Michael Bay antiques explains the Matrix of leadership to his colleagues and the audience.

Maggie, Glenn and the Scientific R&D department look trough the Cybertronian shared files to seek a way to create a machine to harvest the energy of the sliver and power up the Matrix to jumpstart their comrades. To which every autobot and engineer cooperate, emphasizing the alliance and synergy between cybertronian and humans. Sideswipe even shares some strategies (with his arc starting as a reckless rebel heading always to the danger) to defend the machine.

The decepticons arrive with their machine as well, with the intention of taking Prime's matrix to power it up, in an infinity war-esque finale where everyone has their moment to shine, with some arcs like the Twins being able to work competently together (as they always argued about each one wanting their own way of working) The triplets being small and using that to their advantage, making them quicker and able to combine, sideswipe as said before thinking over attacking heads first, and jolt, being the polka dot guy of the group, feared by his own electrical skills for being too dangerous, using his power to boost the machine that brings the other Autobots back. Bumblebee gets his time to shine as a competent rookie leader, and they all start outgunning the decepticons with the help of the army, navy, and every military asset Bay would like to use.

Ratchet, Ironhide and Prime wake up in the middle of the fight, and help their friends to overcome the decepticons, making them retreat, and swearing revenge as they'll come back, for they had an ace all along that will hurt them the moment they'll less expect it.

Earth is protected as they fought as a team, proving the government the Human-Robot alliance is effective, to which they allow it and reveal it as earth's saviors and their new defense line to the whole world. Lennox decides to retire, and get to his family, but a new team of human and robot soldiers emerged, a new Alliance.

My ideal Transformers movie would be a loose adaptation of The Last Stand Of The Wreckers. It’ll be in the style of James Gunn’s The Suicide Squad. The main villain would be Straxus.

The bumblebee movie was very close to good just needed more action and for John Cena and that stupid boyfriend to be gone. I also found it a bit Disney...gross.

In the broader sense, most of this.

More specifically, though? Something that takes the familiar and plays with it, twists it up, does something with it other than the "Optimus vs. Megatron for the Ancient Space Magic Whatsit of the Week, ad-infinitum" mode that the brand at large has been in for the much of the past two decades.

I’d want a solid arc from Beast Wars to Beast Machines . In the beginning it looks like the hero’s have already won , but come the end , the villain is the one whose in charge .

Fun fact: CreatureBox (AKA Greg Baldwin and Dave Guertin) are also character artists for the Ratchet & Clank series.

My perfect movie it would be about decepticons, and this team it would be the main characters.

If we talk about animation, I would like a retro animation like Call of the primitives (G1) but with modern touches.

If we talk about CGI, The battle of cybertron style in Bumblebee it would be great!

A Wreckers movie that takes place on Cybertron early in the war, exploring the moral alignments and differences of Autobots and Decepticons.
Lot of obscure characters given time to shine with a few main names being either cameos or supporting roles.
Maybe the tone of The Suicide Squad but obviously way less malicious.

If you think about it, a lot of the comic books from the last 20 or so years, have gone for the cinematic approach to their storytelling. And that's why Last Stand of the Wreckers, or All Hail Megatron, for example, come up all the time as examples of how people imagine a good Transformers movie. They're doing what many of us expected the movies to do, which is take G1 as the source material and imagine what if would be like if it was a big movie, with fleshed out characters, a bit tighter mythology, sophisticated concepts and real story with real stakes. Or, how Kevin Feige puts it "treat it like it's Shakespeare", when adapting it.

And here we are almost 15 years since the first actual live action movie, 6 movies in and going for the 7th and still looking at the stars and pondering "what the ideal Transformers movie would be like". Isn't that ironic?

Welp... Let's put it that way. If they approach Transformers movies with the same spirit they approach the comics, we'll end up with a legit movie, far easier than waiting for Lorenzo to discover what "heart" is.

    7th time's the charm guys!

Well I’m easy to please as shit so, take the first five minutes of Bumblebee and stretch that out into two hours of lively action, quotable banter and some serious heart. And then Bumblebee is already a great movie so it can be the sequel to that movie.

What I felt the fifth film should of been in bringing the Quintessons fully into the mix, i always felt they were the best new addition to season three of G1. No Merlin or knights stuff.

Basically my idea would be to go back to that mythology in that they were forced to leave Cybertron as the Transformers stood up and fought oppression, whilst their new home Quintessa is adequate , they find out through their followers that Cyberton is now a wasteland, deprived of resources and energon. the Transformers are on planet Earth , which is rich in resources which the Quintessons see as a chance to take over. “What they took from us, they shall provide us now. A home”

They manipulate the Decepticons into joining them in attempts take over Earth, stating they should join forces to fight a bigger threat to the universe (Unicron) both sides secretly planning other things once Earth is claimed. Quintessons to control the Decepticons to their will and the Decepticons to kill them along with the Autobots to solely control the planet.

Optimus Prime and his Autobots fight back against both the Decepticons and Quintessons, all the while the question if this bigger threat is actually real or not remains suspect, or is it?...

I get that. The core for a really good Transformers film is present in all of the movies, yet they're coated with Michael Bays essence, which often overpowers everything else.

I would, but my ideal Transformers movie was pretty much what we got with Bumblebee. Now I just want to see what different direction they take the franchise in.

    Not really a movie but , a series on Paramount+ something like : N.E.S.T.
In this series we would see what happened between 2007 - ROTF and ROTF - DOTM with NEST , like what missions did the autobots go on with them , who they stopped and so on , maybe even see how the decepticons were preparing for DOTM.
It's not really my ideal but it would be a nice show , or would have been a nice show to have between the movies back then.

For a movie....well to be honest i am not sure , something that is written good , has good cgi , has good acting and it feels like a movie no one experienced before , thats all i want, something special.
