Yeah, I knew it was coming too, I saw it when I was watching Superitron and Constructor, some things you wanna nail down a pre-order on more than others and ShowZ is basically the only place I buy these huge combiners cause the price is so much better.

I know I pre-ordered both the metallic Bruticon/Burticus and Superion back at the lower $379 at the end of 2020. Superion is the one that didn't show up until after Chinese New Year and even then took forever to ship using SAL. I'm just very glad that I pre-ordered when I did at the old lower price and that my SAL shipment didn't get destroyed. It actually came through in very good shape with very little in the way of dings. Feel sorry for all those who ordered the same time as me who ended up with the wet boxes.

But anyhow, I don't think the Zeta combiners will ever show up as cheap as $379 again now that SAL shipping is off the table. Also, it's still good to get in on the PO price as these are fairly well know molds by this point and there is no sense it waiting to pay a few bucks extra. Well, until Zeta finally wears these molds down to the nub and you get releases like the more recent Constructors. Will be interesting to hear if any of the new re-issues start having more tolerance issues.

Ive got my po in for 399 at showz also. I paid 419 for superion and consider it a hell of a deal. If bruticus is even close to being on par with superion then I would consider it to be a steal as well. 5 bots and parts for the combiner for less than 500? Really cant beat that imo

I have the first run of both Superitron and Bruticon. While both look amazing, my opinion is Bruticon looks so much better.

I've seen more people talk of negative things with the Armageddon/Bruticon set, nowhere near Constructor level problems but still some issues. That said, I just hope that the changes with this upcoming reissue aren't just cosmetic with the metal chest and they've addressed some areas that have been pointed out as weak points. This way we can get a quality set in comparison to Superitron.

    So where's my news credit?

But yeah, I randomly saw that TFRobots had it in stock so I just went nuclear and checked everywhere. RobotKingdom still does as well, but out of those 3, TCP is obviously the only domestic.

Honest to god, TFRobots' shipping, coming to the States from the Netherlands for that, $45. Makes sense for something bigger but for a tiny-ass head? What the fuck?

Haven't they included both heads in all the releases after the first one? Maaaan, I want both heads AND both chests, come on Zeta!

Edit: Thanks, I grabbed it even though the shipping was stupid to Canada. I wanna paint the eyes so this'll give me a second chance if it gets sloppy.

I'm not entirely sure, but so far Zeta's been hush hush on that info. Thankfully now just in case I have a sort of contingency plan. The chest though would be a kick in the nuts, really like that older chest.

I think I'm gonna chance it that it comes with it in this upcoming reissue. The latest metallic Superitron came with both heads and the metal chest with all parts and pieces packed nicely in baggies for each bot. I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt that they will do the same for Bruticon, they have no reason not to. I'm rootin' for you Zeta!

Holy hell been waiting for the next release, almost bought the last iteration. So glad I waited, but damn I missed the $399, got preorder in at $419. Guess that’s better than $520 at my NA retailers though. Also picked up the toon head from TCP, thanks for the “Heads” up. Eh EH!

Also, been holding back from these combiners as I see QC is a crap shoot, but then look at my FT bots ($120-$215 a bot) and said F it, for $400 I’ll take my chances…

I asked Showz about the toon head, he said he thinks both heads will be included with the new version. Hopefully he's right.

Is there anywhere to get Blitzkrieg separately anymore? BBTS had him for a while at a very reasonable $130ish...but sadly no more.

...need the combiner parts for a custom I’ve been wanting to do.

seems like they’re only selling full sets anymore.

You could try contacting Show-Z, I asked them to see if they could find me one, and they had it in about a week. This was about a year and a half ago.

I’ll have to give them a try...however, it’s been on the market for so long now...who knows...
    Thanks for the idea... :)

$420 for a set this big and heavy with free shipping is still a good deal. Not to mention is looks fantastic in gestalt mode. I'm not a fan of how the individual bots look so I'm still holding out hope for an official offering from Takara or an unofficial one from Fans Toys.

    You're a more patient guy than I.

FT can't seem to finish a 5 piece combiner and their track record isn't great on large heavy figures that combine anyways. An official MP Bruticus anytime in the next 5 to 10 years would be a total curveball of a release.

I guess it doesn't matter if he's not a character you're that bothered about tbf.

I think XTB is the most likely to be the next ones to do the combaticons, so that's the best bet for us getting a set anytime soon that's accurate in all modes and not too small in combined mode. Although, who knows, they might do the Aerialbots next to go with their Stunticons.

I am holding out hope for an FT release, Zeta/MMC will be my stand ins until then.

Yeah, I couldn't hold my breath anymore... Not getting any younger...

I am not an XTB fan, most items I feel do not fit the look I am going for but prove me wrong! No, please prove me wrong XTB...
