I’m slightly disappointed that Mattel is deciding to release Digitino as one of the three first Sun Man figures. I would greatly prefer Space Sumo solely due to the fantastic name itself. But Mattel probably wanted a Latino representative in MOTU with Digitino. Plus, Jitsu will be coming out soon.
Hypno is high on my list of wants. The Egyptian motif and the mind manipulation powers fill a void in the MOTU play pattern. Duplico benefits from being an army builder.
Quick question. What type of paint works best on the soft rubbery plastic parts on the Heman figures? I tried my testors enamel but it takes forever to dry. Thanks for the help.
Yeah.... after Sun Man Bolt Man is one of the figures whose design has aged the best over the last 30+ years. Did you grow up with the line or do you want Bolt Man solely based upon the design?
I mean, even if it was, couldn't they stick the wing collar in with the accessories? I don't think there's anything that says he has to have it attacked to his neck in packaging, although admittedly I haven't examined the packaging I've handled deeply enough to remember for sure how much space there was back there.
Didn’t grow up with them. I think I remember seeing some of them in a store long ago but mostly I didn’t really become aware of the line until my adult years and following MOTU stuff on the Internet. For Bolt Man, aside from looking cool my wife/kids are part Cree so an indigenous American super hero toy has a little extra significance for us.
The size can obviously vary a bit with Andre the Giant getting an outright larger figure in the WWE line.
I mean this with all sincerity...... That. Is . Effing. Awesome. I'll leave it at that so I'll avoid typing a novel in reply. I'm genuinely geeked for you heh.
I know LOP Beastman is packed with is armor behind him so yeah Sun-Man could include the wings in the same way. It really becomes a budget issue. That's a good point maybe if the rest of his wave is made with minimal new parts.
Seems like flocked Panthor is hitting shelves again. I just picked one up at the Covina Walmart on Azusa (California). There's still one left.
Got an email from BBTS about Origins Webstor processing soon. Him and Whiplash were 2 of my favorites as a young lad.
