There is zero an Amazon rep can do for carrier issues that are non Amazon related. They aren't responsible for other carriers' behavior.

Best you'll get is a $5 credit for missed GDD/EDD.

Additionally Amazon doesn't hand off for last mile. If something is shipped with Amazon tracking then it's delivered by Amazon. If a truck drops FC packages off at USPS then they're the carrier.

An Amazon truck that just happens to be in someone's neighborhood isn't going to be able to deliver any old package. If there's a USPS tracking number associated that simply isn't possible.

That means it never even touched an Amazon station, locally.

Everyone's logistics were overwhelmed long before 2020 and it's what led to FedEx, UPS, and the USPS (I'm not sure if anyone else played well with others) started handing off shipments to each other. None of them could handle their own workload so, they figured out how and when they should use one another to streamline the process as much as possible (and hopefully reduce transit time in the process). All of those companies also have to deal with box box stores, freight at the ports, and so on.

It's extremely rare that the the final hand-off will change once something is in transit and, there has to be a catastrophic breakdown in the logistics chain before it does. e.g. A vehicle breaking down or a delivery driver going NOPE and so on isn't going to trigger a hand-off. The entire country would likely need to be simultaneously on fire while flooded while infested with sharknados while all the stars fall out of the sky while there are no giant robots to defeat an army of Kaiju before a final hand-off change is made because it throws the entire logistics system under a bus and then backs over it and then does a j-turn and backs over it again while the bus shouts #GetRekt #GG . . .

 

I got a shipping notice from amazon for my Skywarp and SideSwipe 2 pack.

 

So out of curiosity has anyone had the Mirage/Grimlock two pack shipped yet? It got shipped from Pulse but I was just wondering if anyone here has had it shipped. Mine is still listed as November 3rd

 

I've only received the Mirage/Grimlock set from Pulse. Still waiting on Amazon. Subsequently, only got the Sideswipe/Skywarp set from Amazon, but not from Pulse.

 

A couple of people at cybertron.ca said their packages shipped but were « lost » later. I haven’t ordered a set myself, but this is not good...

 

Don't know about that since I'm in the US. Hopefully it eventually arrives.

Yup, I'm in the same boat.

 

Looking at the Hasbropulse thread, I knew I should have kept that pre-order.

Then again, their delivery has been weird lately. Used to be that we got stuff insanely quick up in our area (less than 2 days), but I feel like that hasn't been the case lately. We may still get this quicker than we would have otherwise.

 

Yeah, I used to get stuff within a couple of days as well, but then stuff started getting shipped out of Georgia, and that squelched the quick shipping time right out of the gate.

When did you get charged for it, and did you have an initial ship date of Sept 22nd that changed to Friday?

 

I think I got charged last friday or Saturday and I think mine said the 19th

 

My sideswipe set went from “preparing to ship” to “not yet shipped”.
