Just pre-ordered two of these guys, although not where I would've preferred to order from as they're long gone there.  

 

Homepage mentioned slight retooled from Scourge. Which part?

 

Swapped hands.

 

Hands sculpts are swapped so the right hand is open and the left is closed.

 

Well, I'm glad that deco is a little different at least.

I'm still on the fence about getting SS86 Scourge though. I really dislike Kingdom Galvatron's deco and I feel that Kingdom Cyclonus could look a little better which makes me suspect that they will eventually release the three of them with better paintjobs in a pack or so like they did in the past so I might as well wait.

 

I like that the colors are different so Scourge himself stands out. My plan was one Scourge and two Sweeps. I think the colors will work out good for that.

 

Im not a fan of sightings posts in general (various reasons), but because of Covid shipping probs, they're even worse now.

Toy aisles around the USA look like they've been hit by a tornado, and I see empty TF pegs for MONTHS.

Okay, so just go often and pick these up as they drop? Kiiiiind of hard when u see grown men with cell phones, scouring for eBay flips, and filling carts (a la AutobotCity2008 MP Grimlock!  ).

 

I wasn’t sure if I would get Ss86 sweeps but I had 3 on preordered just in case. Seeing the different colors, I’m going to keep all 3 Sweeps that I had preordered.

 

Might get that, only because that I don\'t have scourge.

I like the color difference. Subtle but definitely there.

 

Still not interested in this "Sweep" or any of the other 2 pending SS86 figures in the what's considered to be Wave 3.

The good news is that if these figures are coming out this early (and not April of next year) then perhaps the next SS86 wave will come sooner and have more relevant and interesting characters. You known... Like Blaster and the rest of the Dinobots.

 

I just saw SS Thrust yesterday at my local Walmart. I was in shock to see a new figure as it's been a few months since I've seen a new figure at multiple Targets and Walmarts in my area.

 

Hmmm.

I wasn't going to bother, but now if I actually see him I may have to grab 1 or 2. (of course I say that having only ever seen Scourge in store once- so my actually seeing this guy is far from a sure thing).

 

That's what I plan to do. The Sweep will be my Scourge and Scourge will be the sweeps. The stand out one should be Scourge since he was the "leader".

 

Ok, seeing them side by side I actually like that shade of blue way better than what Scourge has. I haven't opened my Scourge yet so I'll be very tempted to sell him and hunt down a Sweep instead, but I'll want to see how this guy looks next to Cyclonus and Galvatron first. Or I might still open my Scourge and swap the hands...

Edit: although the Matrix Workshop gun for Scourge won't be the right color for this version, so I guess I'll have to wait and see if they release a color-adjusted version of that first.

 

Are the hands the same color? I might be interested in getting one just to give Scourge two open hands.
