The fact that it happened at all puts a shadow of mistrust over the entire company for a long time for me. I'm never, ever, preordering from Fans Hobby after that.

 

The fact that you're even able to pre-order anything from anyone with that mind set shocks me.

 

I usually don't, but on some occasions, I will if it's something I really want and I did with NC's second run on the promise it was fixed. This it snapped in half at the waist.

 

It won't because it doesn't have the same engineering challenges.

The main point of failure for their Armada Prime was at the connection between the cab and the pants, right? Well... guess who doesn't have that at all?

 

I think it's safe to say they've tightened their measures since. Look at Goshooter for one, not exactly the same by any stretch but AFAIK he's had no issues upon arrival since they fixed his decal issue.

 

Like I said I'm waiting for this to have been out a while before I buy it.

 

Well just hope it doesn't back fire in a way of this guy being sold out everywhere pretty quickly like NC was.

Although see as NC is already on it's third production run that probably won't be an issue.

 

If he is they'll do a second run.

 

It really would be a shame if this guy's sales suffered cause of the Naval Commander qc issues, especially considering the fact that almost all of fanshobby's other releases have been rock solid.

 

That’s what’s holding me back from their releases at the moment. I know they have a good track record with QC support, but I don’t feel terribly inclined to go through that process if necessary. And from what I’ve read is the company usually fixes QC issues with successive releases, so I’m hoping in a few years all the major issues will be sorted.
