I wanted to change up my collecting a bit by going back towards older lines. I recently got a Beast Machines kick so I bought two Vehicon figures, Jetstorm, and the Motorcycle Drone. The Drone is way bigger than I expected for a Basic class figure, it's pretty much as tall as a Deluxe WFC CHUG. Its design kind of makes it a bit top-heavy and odd to pose, but it's still kinda cool with the alt mode and blast effects. I just got Jetstorm today and he's much easier and more fun to fiddle with. They both look cool paired together!


I also got Studio Series 86 Wreck-Gar with my employee discount at my new Target job. He's okay IMO, but his motorcycle mode is the main attraction for me

Here are some sideswipe comparisons if anyone cares. FYI I had to paint the tip of kingdom sideswipes rocket white as it had red on the molding peg still unpainted. Not sure if it’s gonna be common or not. Just worth mentioning.

 

I shall call him Sidestreaker. Or Sunswipe. Idk yet...

That Ark was the second one I got as the first came with two left wing pieces and missing bits. I think Amazon were selling on a return that had been cannibalised.

Todays in store purchase was wingfinger and scorponok. And scorpy....uh well his stinger is so loose it swings around like a dude in need of ED medicine. Ive never had a toy with such a loose ball joint

This chunky boy showed up yesterday. I wasn’t interested in the Ark as a whole but thought he looked awesome.
I didn’t realize though that he was voyager-sized. That helps the sticker shock and the disks and scanner add-ons are pretty freaking sweet!


I even threw on a few little toyhax detail stickers I had laying around.
