But we all know that the weight isn't equal to its build quality. I agree with those who have said the hands suck. Everything else doesn't bother me too much. And he looks decent next to MPM Or Leader Bay Prime. He's a bit of a short king tho. Plus he's accurate enough for me, looking at the ThreeZero figure. I still need to paint his dead eyes though.

It’s sloppy because I sort of rushed it and because I lack a steady hand. I know his grey is gunmetal officially, but I really like regular silver on Primes instead Also, even though it doesn’t look GREAT, I had the intense urge to paint his sun visors. I mean he’s going to have them next year in addition to a bull bar so…
    A comparison;

    In case anyone was curious about the size comparison to Zeta Blitzwing.

    I found one! And in all honesty, should it be $125? No. Is it perfect? No. Does it need work? Yes. However, looking at the other 3rd party primes, this is probably the best one. Proportions actually look somewhat good, the transformation isn’t a nightmare, and yeah yeah it has cat ears and arm kibble. In hand it really isn’t that bad or noticeable.

    And if spending $125 on this will show hasbro and takara that more funding should be going to the Mpm line, then so be it. I did it during the Fall of Cybertron times, I’ll do it again.

    I love this prime, but for the love of Primus PAINT THE EYES.

    Yup, I really wish they would always paint the eyes and ditch the light piping. I painted the eyes on mine as well, but they are so small and shadowed by his helmet it's tough to see them on the shelf. Still much better than before.

    Agree with all your points. I only collect Masterpiece and all Optimus figures so I had to get this, but I'm really glad I did. He just feels good in the hand and has such a presence. Is he perfect? Nah. It's he a better representation the the MPM 7 Bumblebee? Definitely.

    For MPM I usually wait for clearance prices, but this one doesn't look like it'll last that long and I'm still happy.

    I like the custom paint job they gave to this figure. It definitely adds a little more to the look.

    That looks great, the paint on the thighs especially, but the added height it brings does put me off

    Agreed, Only actual gripe I have so far is that they didn’t fix the inconsistent stripe coloring, but it’s possible they could change things for the final release. I feel like the legs might be a bit too long now, but I still prefer the look of the thighs over the original. Overall, excited to do more things to my MPM

    Absolutely, I wonder if the longer thighs will throw off some people as it could put Mpm12 too tall or off scale with other figures. Thighs are optional anyway.

    For me the size won’t throw me off too much, his proportions beforehand in the thigh area always seemed awkward to me, so even if it’s bigger now I still prefer it. Also, double knee bend! He’ll actually be able to sit on one knee now. The rotation of the leg at the top of the thigh is also a thing now, which is accurate and looks a whole lot better

    Sorry for the blurry image, but you can see how MPM 12 is now a bit too long near the thigh area, but still manages to line up properly in a lot of places. Overall, great looking add on kit
