Noticed this one at the gate on my morning walk but I forgot my phone. Went back and it was still there. I used my hand for scale. Keep in mind I have big hands.

i love seeing all the bugs here (but not the spiders).

 

Every time I saw a cool one on a walk I didn’t have my phone so don’t worry. I almost walked into a web and me and the spider were both startled.

so i found these today. first i saw 1 and then i saw the second one

 

found this guy on my suitcase as we were packing. Gets bigger when they uncurl. Don’t have a picture because I got the broom and swept him outside. Probably between “core” and “voyager” size lol.

 

  That thing would have gotten the "accidentally wound up on the sole of my shoe" treatment.

I've been taking a few pics every so often but keep forgetting to post. Luckily i remembered thank to two bugs landing on my arm at the same time today. It's hard to get a good pic while they're on your arm tho.

This guy looked like a stink bug/tick hybrid so I was glad he jumped away after the first pic. (Gonna have a co worker check me if he's still on tho)



This was the other guy. I put him on my phone then a bush afterwards. Looks like a type of firefly to me


This dude was on the carts as I pushed them into Wal-Mart. Luckily he hopped back out afterwards


This moth was just chilling on the wall a few months ago.


And lastly, Greg has been helping eat away all the bad spiders arpund my section of the store.

The kids found this tank yesterday. He actually pulled his head in a little like a turtle.

 

Found an orb weaver spider on a shopping cart. Moved him to some bushes but took some pics beforehand. (Sorry for quality, my hands shake when I see spiders)

This weirdo decided to land on my dirty hat.

 

That’s a stone fly! I couldn’t tell you the species though. They have incomplete metamorphosis (they don’t have a pupa stage). They spend most of their life in streams until they reach the adult stage.

Like many river-living insects, they are flattened to reduce drag.
