I would love for someone (maybe someone on this thread, <virtually looking at someone...>) to work out a deal with TakaraTomy to allow them to translate, swap text with English for them all, and publish a book of them. I'd buy it.
So my BBTS pile of loot (with my DA-42 inside) is at 0 days... and when I try to ship, it says... Has anyone else had this problem? Seems odd... I've bought a product that cannot be shipped? I swear, I've had more problems with BBTS than any other store on the internet. Ever.
Oh I don’t like that at all haha. I want my Diaclone army to have a navy fleet sure but those glorious gunboats are not what I mean!
Mech is wearing a size 15 shoe but overall I can get on board with this. I dig the streamlined look. I would be interested to see what I could make out of the left over leg and arm pieces from Powered. I'm also curious what happens to the original hip clips that holds V-Max's rifles. Can't tell if they are tucked in somehow or removed completely.
Thank you so much for pointing this out! I had no idea something like this existed, idk what rock I've been living under, but that works like a charm. Much appreciated!
As someone who doesn't follow the diaclone reboot line as often as one should, how often does TT reissue these guys? For example, I would prefer to see a reissue of DA-65 Battle Convoy?
Only DA-23 and DA-24 have ever been "reissued" as in the same item was reproduced without changes to content, color, and packaging. Everything else has only been repainted and/or modified in other ways and given a different numbering.
Am I the only one annoyed by Takara's continuing to give Diaclone mechs swords but not enough articulation in the wrist to actually use them?
I just noticed even TT's sample of Battle Convoy has quite a bit of paint chipping on the right knee.
It was a known issue. V-Max was impacted a lot by virus shutdowns and delays. My guess is they caved and released it due to pressure... Layering paint like that is rarely durable unless they use something for bonding.
I have that issue with every figure ever shown with a sword that can't hold it properly. When I get this set he won't be holding the sword, that's for sure.
If clown shoes aren't to your liking, then allow me to present you whatever the hell this is supposed to be.
I actually thought that was the coolest... Animalistic hind legs on a mecha, that's awesome. Taking the Gerwalker to the next level.
Guns on the shoulders and the sword giving off a PM Prime/Ginrai vibe. Throw on Wrist Blades and you have Zealot Prime... EN TARU ALPHA TRION! MY LIFE FOR CYBERTRON!
