You're damn lucky. I too missed out on Fort Max but the only place I can find him is on ebay for high markups. About all I see in toy shops around here is trash.

 

The store I bought from might have another FM. I saw another box in the back when I was using the restroom. You can always contact them. 2nd Chance Toys & Collectibles. They have a Metroplex I was licking my chops for but I couldn’t justify the price.

 

I got Metroplex, and it wasn’t till the DNA kit released that I decided to get Scorp. He finally shipped and should be here this week! So excited to join the club.

 

I got a similar message from BBTS. Just waiting for something else to also come into stock before shipping, although if that doesn’t arrive by end of month, I’m shipping this guy anyway. (Skywarp and Thundercracker two-pack. I’ve since heard they may ship November.  .)

The kits look great on him. I’m only really interested in a couple of the extra guns though, which I’ll use alongside those he came with, which I think are fine. I’m referring to the the articulated attached cannons not the rifle… great though it looks. Not interested in the visor, -I think he looks better without it. Certainly not the larger shield -he’s a bit armoured dude. Shield seems redundant, although it doesn’t look bad.

Articulated scorpion legs are tempting, but I think the stock ones do the job. The rifle is nice, but I think Titans should really come with built in weaponry, hence my main focus are the articulated cannons. (The rifle does add a nice extra bit to the skyline when he’s in base mode though. )

I think it’s too much to fork out on one of these just for the cannons. I, won’t say never though, just going to keep my eye out for a cheaper alternative for now. Hoping I can work out something that looks good with Black Roritchi, aside from the spear…which I’ll no doubt try too. I’m not a fan of transformers where parts formimg is their whole thing (I mainly got BR as I love the robot mode and as an accompaniment to Scorponok) but their weaponisation feature comes into its own with this kind of thing.

Don’t get me wrong, the kits look great and I’m enjoying the pictures. And I would like those cannons.

 

The after market price on these upgrades suck.

 

What are fair prices for metroplex and fort max now?

 

do you mean just thr cost or are you trying to find a kit after the fact?

if you or anyone still needs kits i have an extra complete set.

 

It seems the last upgrade kit (DK-23) will soon be released, I got remain payment notice from showz.

 

Really? TCP still has 19 and 21 in stock.

 

i think his problem is more based on the fact that he is in canada.

Yea I had to get mind form the states. Even asking Canadian stores and was told they wouldn’t be ordering any more.

I am happy to have finally joined the club. My 2 year old kept saying "Big guy" as I took him out of the box.

 

I am still not sure if I should get the shield set or not ..........

 

In for a penny...

Considering I dont really care about the legs I still dont think I could have skipped this one. The clear visor, second set of guns, and the massive shield make it worth it.

 

I keep seeing pictures where the toes aren't pulled down and its driving my OCD up the wall...

 

He doesn't quite look complete without the second set of shoulder cannons equipped.

I'm glad others are getting their Scorponoks in-hand and enjoying the giant toddler for themselves. Mine has been chilling in a Detolf stoically for months by now.

 

Can you post a pic of the toddler in the detolf?

 

As someone said earlier, once you get the gun (MUST HAVE IMHO), the regular shield looks too small. Plus the bigger one is more faithful to the look and proportions of the original.
