So trying to get ready for tomorrow, I'm after the Faker set I missed the first time around and a Sun-Man. But this is my first time on the Mattel Creations site and I don't see a way to enter payment info before a purchase. Guess it will be a mad finger dash to enter CC info.
I was hoping that Snake Mountain was going to be announced. I look forward to that pig demon guy from sun man, I'm going to name him Ganon.
A lot of my biggest wants have been checked off from this line. All that is left for me is a Thunderpunch He-Man, The Snake Men, Horde members, and Whiplash. I think what would be neat is some of these crazy original characters that are on the box art making their way into the line?
Edit: ignore me I'm functioning on too little sleep and misreading everything I hope everyone can get him. I'm just going to wait for standard release, personally. May get 2 to turn one into an origins King Grayskull using some partswapping from the Masterverse one. (Because I like origins more than Masterverse)
No, there are five extremely limited and sought after MotU items going up at the same time today. Have fun with that.
Randor is just a head and spear away from being made and has been on some of the packaging art. Mekaneck is most likely going to be a deluxe and I could see them putting him in a wave with BA Faker so they can save some money.
Pretty underwelming announcements. A new horse and some repaints. Mega construx stuff was the most interesting to look at.
Sun Man and Stridor are looking very good. I just have to come up with who I'd pair Stridor with... Mekaneck could be a regular release, putting a neck extending gimmick into the torso probably wouldn't be more demanding than Roboto. I wouldn't be surprised either way, maybe they can come up with a better but more expensive implementation of the gimmick at the deluxe price point and consider it worth it, but Mekaneck doesn't have huge accessories or obvious additional heads.
Less than half of what was announced are repaints. And official word on Sun-Man, Flying Fists He-Man and Terror Claws Skeletor is pretty cool, at least I think so.
Fisto? I'm seeing the gimmick working like the vintage to and then a few neck pieces in lue of a second head and any extra weapons.
