Fan 1st Friday coming up soon. I'm certain they'll "reveal" wave 4 and open pre-orderes. Everyone hoping for a golden disk Terrorsaur reveal will probably get disappointed. Slammer and Pipes fans will be happy though, as this will be the first look aside from the art work. Pipes is uninteresting to me, as he seems to use the same gimmick hindered elbows as Huffer. Slammer might be cool. He's essentially a new character. Shadow panther might be worth picking up too if he looks as cool as I think he will. Especially with the mutant head he'd be a nice "dark energon" infused Cheetor. I wonder if they applied any paint to the beast mode aside from the eyes I'm looking forward to seeing more angles on Tigatron's beast mode in the lava diorama. Hopefully compared to Cheetor
I feel like the Golden Disk dudes will be revealed on Transformers Tuesdays, or we will see the first figure revealed by the end of August, and the next ones will be revealed at the end of the next 3 months. Much like the Galactic Oddysey reveals
For what it's worth: I commented complaining about this figure & the Kingdom toyline a few weeks ago. I thought about it some, and realized ever since being a kiddo in the 90's, I've always liked non-show characters better than the ones they put into S1 of BW (design- and toy-wise, anyways). So Kingdom was never really for me in the first place (well..except Primal, he's an awesome figure), thus I have no place to complain. Basically, once I stopped wanting this to be a Polar Claw figure...that's when I realized it's an awesome Tigatron figure. Could scarcely have been better really. I don't plan to buy, but I'm excited to see his "lava diorama" photos too.
Hello, I'm new around the boards. Based on previous releases, do you all think it is likely this figure will get a reveal and release date or may it just start showing up in stores like Waspinator and Shadow Panther? Thanks.
It will eventually get a reveal yes and also it may start showing up before that said reveal. Hard to say for sure which will happen first. Pulsecon is next month so a safe bet is a reveal then
Downside. They also would have more difficulty getting additional funding that comes with things like an IPO. But I agree… having to appease shareholders inevitably means cutting expenses and in Hasbro’s case, that means less accessories for certain characters. If I had to guess, Hasbro allocates a certain budget for each toy line and then the managers of each line allocate different percentages to each figure. Some figures get more money than others (even within classes like Deluxe). But it’s just a guess. Business is fun!
Weird science question… why does the fur turn white? Are tigers just kind of gross (rolling in urine or dirt or something) or is it a dietary thing? “The more you know!!!”
Leucism results in white coloring in the affected animal, unless the normal coloring includes yellows, which are unaffected by the condition.
