I’d wait for a new version.

Btw I’m pretty sure there’s a thread for the ox autobot tapes.

Yeah, but there’s not much to find there.

Interesting. These are intended to be the same size as the HasTak masterpiece cassetticons, right? I use them (well, KOs of them) in my WFC collection instead of the current cassetticons (some can't be had, one doesn't exist, and most are just crap), so these would fit in perfectly if that were the case. These characters are on my list, but HasTak will never do them decently...

No, these are way bigger like the Decepticon cassettes, that's why they can look so much nicer. Like the size of a small masterpiece minibot

I wont buy them because they wont fit in an MP deck. Also, outrageously expensive for turning into a rectangle.

I haven’t bought any of them, but I have no issue with the size. I would never transform them into cassettes anyway, except just for the fun of the transformation. My MP-36 has never been a gun, either.

Basically this. The OX ReMix stuff has done well, MMC's gotta know that there's demand for this. Then again, Assaultus seems to have done well for them, too, so I guess I get them pushing the combiners now.

Maybe they're waiting. I'd imagine demand for the Autobot tapes will increase after Fans Toys releases their Blaster.

I mean, it's one of the better figures released under the KFC banner, and it's really not a bad figure. It fits aesthetically with MP Soundwave. It's a bit dated now, though, and Fans Toys supposedly has a Blaster in the works, so you're probably better of waiting for that.

Ox Ravage/frenzy/rumble botmodes are unrivaled, and in every category I can think of. The single, solitary complaint I hear is about the size.
To which, I block, parry, and counter with: whatever.

edit: I would be remiss if I failed to address the abovementioned discontent with the altmodes’ rectangular shape. Duly noted and well played, humble sir.

And yep, still think hastak owns the best lazerbeak. Ox lazerbeak is too big :lol

It's so big, it looks like a pterodactyl landed on Soundwave's arm.

They seem to have this at the lowest possible priority. They put out a lot of obscure stuff, These are pretty relevant season 2, movie and season 3 characters that no one else has done well.

Most collections I’ve seen have at least their Ravage, Rumble and Frenzy and want the matching Autobot cassettes.

Come on MMC, take one month off obscure Primes and give us some tapes!

I happen to ask griff about these, maybe a month ago. He said this factory is slowass but they’re coming. Not sure if that pertained to the test shots or what.

It’s one of those where no one else can complete this line but MMC OX so there’s no real rush to accelerate them.

I understand there’s been a third (?) reissue of Rumble and Frenzy aka Furor and Riot recently (or is on the way according to planetsteelexpress at least).

I’m really looking forward to displaying Acoustic Wave with my current con cassettes (I have all versions of all the tapes MMC have done so far). And when these Autobot dudes make the shelf they’ll have to wait just as patiently for FT Blaster as I have for the four of them :D

I know people have their gripes about scale with these and whatnot but I really don’t care. I personally love them and to me they are the definitive versions of what I remember as a kid watching the cartoon on the T.V.

Eagerly and patiently in your hands MMC.

One of the people who works with MMC and frequents this forum (I forget his name), replied to me with saying that both Defensor and Deathsaurus being very expensive (both in time and money) priorities right now, which means that the tapes will happen afterwards. Take that as you will.

Yeah, apparently they sold so poorly they've now had to reissue them TWICE to try to meet demand. :lol  The birds got at least one reissue and Jaguar has had at least three plus the cheaper light gray version, and then there are the convention exclusive repaints of several of these molds.
I may pick up a spare FRumble pair for potential deskbots while waiting belatedly for the Autobot ones to get done. :tumbleweed:

Yeah, the only ones that don't sell out almost immediately are the birds and that's just because of the scale. I think all the Autobot cassettes will scale well for people if you're ok with the Rumble and Ravage sizes.
