This set would be a great place to start - probably hard to find, so pricey: And for the scale: A bit tall compared to Heroes size. There's also the American Girl figures, but similar issues with scale: If you're trying to keep with Heroes scale, you may be limited to a few female Halo Marines, or everyone's favorite custom female base Dr. Halsey: Those ebay 3D printed figures might be a good choice - at least they're easy to find.
So these are actually figures from the landshark box ??? Roboto is a welcome surprise bu cmon one more skeletor???
Here is the zoom link for the Power-Con MC MOTU Panel: Join our Cloud HD Video Meeting Note: Times in Pacific Time Zone (I am in Central so this will start at 1:30 PM my time). I am still hoping we will get Ram Man, Webstor, Clawful, Whiplash, and Jitsu by the end of 2022!
There was no explanation for either when popped up on eBay. It does look like a Skeletor and Roboto come with the Land Shark but that Skeletor in the Instagram image isn't dark enough to be the India version. And it appears to be the Battle Armor figure again. Should've been Clawful instead of another Skeletor. And it does look like yet another HeMan with the Hordak set. Hope Hordak's head still independent of his neck guard. Edit: That may be the blue vested Prince Adam instead of HeMan with the Hordak set.
Excited to see full MOTU reveals today. I understand frustration as we see more he man and skeletor figures, but I do think it is a necessary evil to keep the line going. Obviously a different scenario but The Toys That Made Us episode on He Man did attribute some of their failures at the end of the line in the 80s to filling shelves with only new, less recognizable characters. In our current situation they are targeting adult collector nostalgia (and I want as many OG characters as possible) .. but I understand the need to have versions of the most recognizable figures on the shelves mixed with the rest.. especially when these are mostly at Walmart. ....all that said, gimme my Orko! Hahaha
No. Just like Master Chief in Halo, not every wave of a series needs the primary Heroes. Like I said before, if they feel those need to be released every year, those two need to be in a stand alone, two figure pack like the versus waves. Just those two in their definitive look, maybe even put the extra paint apps on them to make them the best they can be. And make that available for retail order until the line is done. That said, if that Hordak set does come with the mini-comic Prince Adam that will be at least a new and significantly different look for the figure. As would have been the dark blue and black armor Skeletor to homage the India version. But the one shown looks like none of these: It's just Skeletor's normal skin tone. Hopefully it's just a placeholder but I doubt it. It does look like a blue vest on that Adam figure though.
Didn't even notice Adam till you mentioned him, which is good because I don't have a version of him yet
It's a little disappointing to see Adam here though as the last time we saw him, it was in a slide with a new Cringer design. That there is no lump of green in the image suggests he isn't in the set.
Found the Zodac scuba set today and I'm considering trying to make a 2002 Zodak (probably without helmet) and Revelations Greyskull but not sure if there's appropriate parts to use without painting
Well, there may be. I think, however, I would try dying any number of HeMan torsos and arms with diluted brown RIT synthetic dye first. But, you may also wait, 200x Zodac is one of the figures they want to make. I genuinely think Kevin is a huge MotU fan. In other interviews he will sometimes stumble over Halo character names but during the Power Con interview last year he was rattling off MotU character names like they were family members. It's part of the reason all this stagnation in the line is so frustrating. You can tell they want to do more with the line but won't or, more likely, can't due to budget restraints.
Panel was not as good as last year's in my opinion. Maybe 10 minutes of showing the toy product. Castle Grayskull will continue to be available in 2022. The 4 reveals they had are what we know - Zombie Pit He-man Skeletor Skull Landshark with Battle Damaged Battle Armor Skeletor and toy colors Roboto Monstroid with Hordak, She-ra, and comic Prince Adam Skeletor Staff Snake Mountain confirmed for Fall 2022.
