Got rid of most of my Studio Series, Titan Returns, Power of The Primes and a ton of figures across different lines from the past 20 + years

Almost purged my combiner wars sets ….but after taking them out of storage and forming their gestalts… had second thoughts (it was a fun time to collect each set)

 

Got rid of a blindbag Megatron. Gave him to a little cousin.

 

Pitched pretty much all of my CW movie bots in favor of Kingdom ones.

 

Sold DX9 Gewalt around the end of August. He's just too lacking in articulation and I'm waiting on the Fans Toys release.

 

Last year I sold my Siege Optimus, Megatron, Starscream and Soundwave to a friend, because i was planning to get the ER versions instead (did so with Optimus and Megs. Soundwave lol nope, and missed out on Starscream as well but i'm eyeing that coronation version...). Also because my friend offered cash + their HFTD Battle Blades Optimus, as a bayverse collector how could I resist that?

 

I recently offloaded some animated figures and a few WFC exclusives.

Non-TF-wise, I offloaded my entire G.I. Joe and Marvel Legends Collections for money, room, and peace of mind.

 

Earthrise Hoist. I don't know enough about the characters, and just buy Transformers for the toy itself. I didn't like the robot mode much, and found Huffer more fun to play with as a truck.

I also recently sold the weaponizers Six-Gun and Cog. Too flimsy in their own modes, too bulky on other Transformers.

 

For me it was some 3P stuff that I bought impulsively. The MMC Knight Morpher line if I remember correctly. But official figures were Commemorative Astrotrain after I got the Walmart reissue and a G2 Prime that really had no place in my collection.

 

• A lot of WFC figures, namely from Siege and Earthrise. I wasn't attached to Hound, Chromia, and Sideswipe as toys nor characters, and Hoist disappointed me so, so much.
  
• Studio Series BB Optimus Prime and SS Blackout. The former didn't click with me and I intend on replacing the latter with Grindor at some point. I did have some attachment towards him since he was my first SS figure, but with Grindor being mostly the same mold, I probably will be fine as long as I get a copy with good QC  

I might also be selling off my other SS Bumblebee figures and my Weaponizers, but I'm still on the fence about the latter.

 

It's been a while but, I'm fairly certain it was the Encore Star Convoy reissue, OTFCC Sideswipe & Sunstreaker, and the Sam's Club 2003 (Universe) yellow RID2K Prime & barely changed (blue was darker) Magnus (but it might have been the Costco 2004 yellow Energon Optimus and yellow Energon Overload set).

 

I've just offloaded most all of my Studio Series stuff on Mercari and am going to be listing most of my CW, TR, PoTP, T30, Classics, some Siege, and all of my nuRID stuff. It's long past time to clear a bunch of stuff out that I'm simply not doing anything with.

 

Siege Jetfire is perfect, but it is close to MP size, so I sold it after a lot of consideration.

I've been actively selling pieces of my collection that I've either upgraded, moved on from, or have just run out of room to keep.

 

I am in the process of dumping all of my Beast Machines toys. I'm taking a loss on what I paid for them, but oh well

 

Siege Red Alert, because there was no reason to keep him when I just got Kingdom.

 

Potp grimlock custom , still contemplating on UT challenger , maybe $50 bucks for sale or dumping him in some donation

 

Never thought I would get rid of any of my figures, either, but here we are...

 

sold a Netflix Soundwave the other day

 

Blackarachnia from the Worlds Collide set.

I really wanted to like her since I had the original toy version but it just didn't wow me in hand so I sold her at normal deluxe retail plus shipping to a friend to help recoup some of the $85 box set price.

 

Earthrise Scorponok. What a trash figure! Straight out of the box and into the bin. Didn't even bother attaching his accessories, I just left them in the box and threw it into the incinerator.

Just kidding. Man, what a great figure... Wait, what was this thread about? Merengue dancing figure poses? Gonna have to summon @Nemesis Baser for that one.
