Maybe this is one case where that mold being a shell-former would come in handy. The excess car shell can be folded to become the bottom half of her dress, maybe parts of it can become the upper half of her hair-do as well.
That packaging is pretty fucking good looking, I can definitely see myself getting this guy for my horror display. I just hope that the rubberized parts aren't as gummy feeling as on mindwipe.
We have two figures based on the Mindwipe mold: legends version and Convobat. Convobat has been good so far. For Mindwipe, we did suffer a broken hinge issue as many others have reported. One of the wing hinges partially broke with a sizeable chunk coming off. Epoxied back into place and has been fine since without breaking again or other wing breaks. I'd show a pic, but apparently my repair job was so good, I can't even see the crack marks anymore.
have they confirmed whether there is still a headmaster (or titan master as it is)? I'm assuming it is, and it would have been neat if the head had fold-out wings...
Looks like there is no headmaster part. Though you're right, it'd be fun if the head was a new mold that turned into a little bat.
I know it's supposed to be based off the Bela Lugosi Dracula (awesome), but I can't help imagine Billy and Mandy Dracula's voice now because of that sentence. "HANDS UP IN THE AIR. DRACULA WANTS YO ENERGON. GIVE DRACULA WHAT DRACULA NEEDS AND NOBODY GETS HURT." Gladly simping $32 to get a version of the Mindwipe mold that looks much, much better than the original TR figure. I think this was planned, but there is a MAJOR shipping crisis that's been going on because of...well...what else. Los Angeles has boatloads (literally) of cargo from Asia waiting to be docked and unloaded. Imagine things aren't extraordinarily different over in my neck of the woods (New York City). Think of things as a toy designer would: on a budget. More parts to retool on a limited edition figure would mean an even further price hike.
Add me to the bunch mulling over who the other monsters could be made from. Weirdwolfman is an obvious choice, and I never considered Ironworks for Frank but it really does work. Maybe a really textured Mummy from Kingdom Scorponok? Or even better, Titan-class Scorponok, and they can finagle his city mode into a pyramid or ruins.
Road rage is a red card exclusive. Anyone want to buy and ship me one? I’m against having a credit card to make one purchase a year.
Not my cup of whatever, but loving the updated TF logo with the metal border and suchlike. Hope that sticks around.
Hopefully these monsters sell well enough for them to cap the set off with "Van" Helsing from this guy.
