Sounds like a plan for modest powered armor.... and a salon.

I love this thread. Who knew a Transformers forum could house Bovine pics, P-Bandai rants, mecha girls and now a Gunpla Builder's contest champ all in one place. Great job Anubis!

We like to keep things fun in here.
With regards to the cows, glad you like the pictures.

    MS-54X-F2 Nemo loves her fans.
Whether it's the ones named aftered Mobile Suits, my Moobile Sweeties, or the ones I'm hands on with, I always say "I built that!" so it's a loophole to the crafting rule of this thread.

Here's one that doesn't get a lot of attention in this thread since he's one of my Moobile Bull Son types, MBS-17X-F2 Crowe. Though technically he's my G3: third generation bull, solid gray model. ... he likes to give hugs.

haha I agree the cows are the best part!

I managed to finish applying all the decals yesterday on Sandrock. This had way more decals than I expected :lol  Today is flat coat and I need to paint some details I missed on the head

i just missed out on the AUG. release of this sweetie. i LOVE her little face♥
she disappeared in a flash, so i'll have to find a way to ensure that i can secure one when BANDAI surely runs off another printing.

unless, someone can possibly point me out to a first-run copy out there that is available at or near-retail?

Looks like she's still slated as a Preorder/September release for a lot of US stores like BBTS, USA-GS, and Galactic Toys.

Are any of you applying a dull coat on top of stickers? I didn’t use any on zgok cause they stand out too much.

Also, this kit is pretty good. I think some of the segments on the limbs are a little sus but they have stayed on so far.

No it's just a rule of Bandai: if it's out in Japan now it'll be in the US by next month.

she's getting an official domestic U.S. release?!?
perhaps i stand a perfectly decent chance of picking her up after all!!

(i strongly suspect a product such as her's is hardly the sort that is at all likely to instantly sell-out any time soon in the Western market)

    at any rate;

Absolutely. Decals, stickers, anything with a visible edge that shouldn't be. A matte topcoat can make even the smallest decals look painted on.

So...when will you airbrush one of Halden's cows?

I've yet to really try this, I'm worried that with stickers the dullcote will fog them up and I've never had the chance to try this experiment. Waterslides I'll use dullcote on absolutely no problem.

One problem though. You're going to need a lot of primer, especially for my black Pinzgauer unless he wants a good weathered finish.

    20210904_172845.jpg

Mind the JJ Abrams grade lensflare and camera angle that makes him look shorter in length than he really is, it was a late afternoon shot of the 1:1 scale MBS-P009-R Gundam Pinzgauer "Hungy" Custom.

That's pretty tiny for an airbrush, but I know it can be done. Make it a Pinzgauer!! solid body color, with a white stripe down the back and tail... the world needs more Pinzgauers, they're an endangered breed. *look it up!*

Meanwhile, this is what "tiny" looks like for me.

    20210909_152912.jpg

    MB-72X-F2 "Blanco." He's only a week old.

Ah, yes, the Master Grade Cow, the one that comes with a free 1/100 Turn A.

Can somebody remind me why that cow even exists? I legit don't remember the context :lol

That cow is legitimately bigger than some of the things anubis has posted as having been covered in masking tape to get one tiny little spec airbrushed the right color.

    Episode 8 "Laura's Cow."

To Anubis's credit, he doesn't have paint splotches in random places like mine do. Blanco's hide is a tan gold with the white stripe down his back and tail, and bands around his legs, with one odd gold spot on his hip. MS-04X-F2 Jesta's got one too... and one of my Insidious Greys has a random black dot on her head.

    20210908_153145.jpg

Maggie technically isn't an Moobile Sweety (since her name isn't Gundam related), but she's mine so that makes her MS-60C-F2, next to her is MS-71X-F2 Mira who is born from MS-30-F1 Artesia.

Where's that clear red BA-13 Action Base come from (the one holding the Exia Dark Matter)?

Put the Overflags on the wall or hang them from the ceiling. Suspend them in the air where they belong!!
