I preordered Draculus but I fully expect Target to delay and then cancel my order like every other damn time I tried preordering anything from them.
It definitely looks better in robot mode. Would probably be even better if they'd spent the extra to put a red lining on the inside. Still not a fan of it overall though.
I feel a bit abused on the price for Draculus since the base figure was $15 (only 5 years ago ...) but I preordered it from Target anyway. I have a couple months to cancel it. I'm going over to Pulse to run one there as well. I have a couple other Pulse preorders I've held off on 'cos I didn't have enough for free shipping; even if I cancel this thing later, the free shipping on the order will stand.
Universal Monsters merchandise has had a resurgence, and especially this year. I hope Hasbro adds some additional monsters.
I like him well enough. Hopefully my copy won't have the leg issue my mindwipe has where the left leg refuses to stay on the mushroom peg if I so much as breath near it. Cape looks badass, and the tuxedo chest is a fun detail. Personally, I think they really missed the chance to call him Bloodron. That's who he'll be in my collection.
E Exactly how I feel. I JUST got retro Mindwipe for $19.86... I'd say there's a 80% I'll cancel this later...
Honestly, not really impressed by Drac. Base mindwipe mold with barely no edits, same head in bat mode, generally not a fan of how TR Mindwipe felt in the first place, just a few issues. I cant imagine the leg issues would have gone away either, if anything i see them being worse from mold degradation, like my sloppy Exhaust. I was lowkey hoping he would be anything but a bat, which is a weird wish, but imagine a mecha dracula who turns into a hearse or something. Most all the collab figures have seen a bit more effort to them, like giggawatt from sideswipe but he basically felt like a new fig. Robot mode looks kinda different in the chest and arms (and head of course) but thats all im really seeing. oh well, looking forward to the next Collab i suppose
