Was that included in your order or did you have to request the parts from Terry's?
EDIT: lol nevermind, just saw that you said these aren't the upgrade parts

Oh, I got it and remember your QC now. At the 1st glance, it looked like a decent no hollow right leg.
Anyway, glad for you. I've had QC with my coneheads, NA also sent replacement parts which were super easy to swap :) .

I think this picture goes a long way toward illuminating NewAge's thinking when it comes to why they went with that Devy-frame.

With the exception of the hands, Hulkie is an all-in-one transformation. And there's just not enough volume in the six team members to build a sizeable, well-proportioned Devastator.

You can leave the hands on if you want.

MS disagrees, with the exception of the legs.

They could've made Hook bigger to fill up the combined torso. I'm OK with one or 2 members marginally bigger.

Uh... and hips, waist, forearms, hands and head. Other than the small abdominal section, MS is the about the same when it comes to volume. Yes, NA has the thin torso walls and arm frames, but that isn't about volume, it's about stability. In my mind the only difference between MS and NS Devy frame is the abs, which isn't much at all, hence making the whole exploding contraversy very tiresome.

I lean towards NA Devastator because of both lankier proportions and a smoother, less greeble look to the sculpt. In my mind's eye, that's my idealized G1 Devastator.

I'm eager to see what MS' Devastator looks like with finalized production units because I think the prototypes look great. I'm just going off memory but MS Devastator has more of a comic book(Dreamwave or IDW) look to me with stouter proportions and more sculpted mechanical detail.

I'm curious to see the strengths and weaknesses of both Devastators once both companies' offerings are all on the market.

If MS holds together well I expect a lot of people going towards that one. We know NA is sturdy and won’t fall apart easily.

    Personally I went with NA.

Does anybody know how long it takes for New Age to redeco their figures into toy colours or SG colours? I'm guessing it's inconsistent but NA Devastator looks pretty appealing to me and I'd wanna get him in one of the aforementioned decos.

Normally they do all within a month but that hasn’t happened since Shockwave.

I will eventually get the rest of newage devastator. However my priority is currently on magic square. As I feel it's more masterpiece like.

As a recent example (just checking my emails from Show-Z), Herbie (Bumblebee) shipped out in May, the first recolour shipped in July.
