You know I was looking at these listed by Amazon...It was around USD $75 back then & I saw the prices going up slowly (took like 6 months & more)...

USD $100...And then USD $130...

I just couldn't bring myself to click on the Buy button all this while so yeah, the fault's on me myself totally.

Since prizes were going down I bought a set from an eBay seller two weeks ago and my Paradron dudes just arrived to me in Sweden across the brimy deep (The Atlantic).
I dig the Arcee mold despite the shellformer thing (I don't transform most toys that much so that probably helps), looks real nice in bot mode to me so I like Lifeline - she's cute. I also have the previous (Takara or was it Funpub?) Lifeline from the Thrilling Thirty Arcee mold and there is supposed to be more than one of her kind around so that is great!

Ratchet looks real cool to me, great classic update of a favourite of mine - he even has his iconic riotshield!

 

After speaking with some of the sellers on eBay; it sounds like Amazon restocked these anywhere from 2 weeks ago to a month ago.

It would have been excellent of Amazon to send out a notification to those of us they cancelled the preorders on a year ago.

I hope this means there are still more to come. If anyone sees this listed sold and shipped from Amazon, would you be so kind as to send me a quick message. It sounds like they are still being sold for $40 when sold from Amazon directly.

 

Wait so they restocked but no one on tfw noticed? Thats hard to believe

I agree… but I asked 15 sellers on eBay with 6 replies so far stating they were bought directly from Amazon.
4 of them said the timeframe of the past 2-4 weeks and they go up for a short time and then are gone. 2 of them said they paid the MSRP. To be specific one said $40 the other said $45 total after taxes.

I am not asking you to believe me- I am just asking for the next time someone notices this to please send me a pm so I can finally add him to my collection from my cancelled preorder.

 

Telling people this gives them hope for buying it at retail and not their prices. Why would they do this?

I just did. I feel dirty. They seem to be all over at that price range at the moment.

I reasoned with myself that I need to sell some of these extra BW figures I bought with these other sets anyway, so it's more of a trade. Yeah, no. But that's how I'm selling myself on it. Still pretty ticked at how amazon handled this.

 

So do we think this is about as low as it would reasonably go at this point, or would it be at all worth holding out any longer?
