I would but those are outside of the budget as a whole. I have a line around 200 AUD that I wont cross for toys. TBH I dont like to cross 150 AUD. Id collect individual pieces of those combiners and build up overtime but I cant guarantee I can get them all over however long that would take.

 

Hey guys, please forgive my ignorance on the matter, but is there any way to add a filler between long haul and hook? ...just maybe 3/4” to an inch to make him taller?

I’ve been holding out on picking up a MP sized Devy since the beginning thinking FT would do something amazing...but after no news and now seeing where FTs prices are headed...probably not gonna happen.

I like the look of this version but I wish he was just a little taller...just a bit.

I’ve noticed on eBay that the ones that come with the upgrade kit seem to be a yellow version? (a wee bit colorblind)...are there any green versions that come with the kit?

In my mind Devs was always the biggest combiner and it seems that everything that’s available aside from TW/Zeta is just a little too small.

 

There is not a green giftset that comes with all 6 + the upgrade set, that is yellow only. The separate upgrade sets are for the green version, which comes in 3 separate sets of 2. As for a filler, there was someone around here 3d printing something like that, plus a bunch of other parts to help reinforce and upgrade the combined form.

 

Look up ultraman zoffy. He is the guy that makes the filler that you are talking about. It is 3/4 inch thick and he had them in a shade of green that is close to devy’s but not quite as dark. Still looks good. He also makes a stabilizer kit for the leg bots that really helps to make him stable. I have them both on mine and he scales perfectly with Zeta Bruticon and Superitron. I don’t know how to post pics otherwise I would for you, but the three of them look great together.

Also the upgrade set that you buy separate for the green is the same as the yellow. I have the green one with the upgrade kit and Zoffy’s kits, and that is what gets him to Zeta size.

Anyone seen the battle damaged version somewhere?  

 

Not too much, about shoulder/head taller. In my mind he is always the biggest combiner since he is 6 bots. If anything, the Jinbao Predaking (Nero purple in my case) is a little short/squat, even with Razorclaw's legs extended.

DX9 Gabriel / JuJiang Superion, Hasbro Scorponok, Jinbao Nero Rex, Jinbao Bruticus Warbotron, WeiJiang Predaking, Jinbao Gravity Builder with the Jinbao addon kit.

 

Still looks too tall to me.. his shoulder height doesnt help out either. seems like he scales better with the bigger bots like shown in posts above. I still might get one one as a stand alone combiner at that height one day..cause Ill never have the premium ones unless someone kos them. Plus for now I just ordered the daban set basically. I was going to mixmatch and fix my complaints with NBK and ordered 2 to replace longhaul and hook to go with the GT upgrade the other day. Then ended up ordering the limbs a couple days later.

 

eBay and AliExpress use to have the weathered/battle damaged set for about $250-300 at one time.

I only found one eBay listing for it and it is over double that price now.

Better off getting the default figure for $150 and doing the weathered/battle damaged look yourself.

I wouldn’t pay that price that the Chinese seller has the set up for.

 

Found one for ~405USD shipped but it's still rather bad considering that EU buyers can expect extra 23% custom fee when using Ebay   I'd rather wait for some good retailer that can manage it better.

NBK is 1:1 KO with no improvements, right? (sorry I was always more into movie MPs than G1   ) then I'd prefer JB... Besides, Aliexpress sucks now too (23% tax included   )

NBK is both simplified and improved. There are also things that NBK does that the original doesn't.

 

Don't know if anyone would be interested but I have a standard green version brand new still factory sealed, even still sealed in the shipping wrap from china just sitting in my closet collecting dust.
I have no place to display it and no plans to open it, so I am willing to part with it at a reasonable price.
I live in the "US" so it would only be days getting to you instead of months as long as who ever would also live within the US..

Its the first gen set the A,B,C set and it may come with the upgrade ratchet you are talking about but you would have to install your self at your own risk..
