In the words of Dead End: "My sentiments exactly!" My 1 criticism of the IDW megatron/prime was that the eyes were translucent/light piping which made the kit lifeless. I ended up painting both and it gives em life. I cant tell from the current pictures whether Rodimus eyes are painted or not. I'd saaaaaaaaaaaay they are based on SG Drift and it would be really weird if it was a once off.

 

Still no delay mentioned on K^3 SG Optimus Prime over at the D4Toys site. I wonder if it will be released in August 2021.

 

Hopefully we'll get our shipping notices next week. I too have been monitoring the D4Toys site over the last week. Unfortunately there's no guarantee that it will not be delayed. I am pretty sure they delayed some products at the last minute before and only updated their site a couple of days after the fact.

 

They almost always delay at the last minuet. Usually the week something is supposed to come out. My guess is that SG Prime might be delayed because the Fallen was supposed to come out first and it got delayed.

 

Yeah looks like you are right. It's now Friday in East Asia, sure we still have next Monday and Tuesday, but it's looking very likely that SG Prime will be delayed.

Well that was to be expected. Still sad that they didn’t notify their buyers before the last day of August. Did they had hopes that it would materialize out of thin air today.

Btw. Is D4Toys down at the moment?

On the upside the Fallen is scheduled for September so we got that going for us. Which is nice.

Or not since it is a lazy remold for a character that should have gotten it’s own mold.

SG Prime delayed to December. To be honest I expected it, due to Victory Leo and The Fallen both getting delayed, but it’s still a bummer. You’d think they’d be able to get a figure out on time by now.

I think a lot of us expected a delay, but what's surprising is they delayed it by 4 whole months!!! We are talking about a repaint here, not a brand new mould. Like WTF seriously.

 

I know right? 4 months is a long time for a repaint to be delayed.
I know when I saw they were going to release 3 figures in a year there was no way they’d be on time. Victory Leo was supposed to me April, the Fallen was July, and SG Prime was September.

Has there been any update on Big Convoy? Got my Primal a couple months ago and have Leo Prime on pre-order (who were both included in their magazine last year), but has BC only ever been mentioned the one time back in July of 2019?

There has not been any news on BC and Lio Convoy isn't even up for preorder actually. I'd suggest following Flame Toys on social media because it can be a hassle backtracking updates here (with all the various indistinguishable FT threads).

 

Thanks, I didn’t think I had seen anything since… that’s disappointing. I do follow them on Twitter, but they have so much crap coming down the pipeline that I don’t care about, it’s easy to miss or not remember their updates  
As for Leo Prime, ShowZ does have pre-orders up for him with a release date for the end of the year, but I feel like they create placeholder listings for newly revealed figures all the time… it doesn’t necessarily mean they’re going to come out. But they did give us an update a couple of months ago with colored prototypes, so hopefully they’ll hit that deadline. Maybe after Leo Prime they’ll shift gears toward Big Convoy and Blackarachnia.
