Very unfortunate. I’ve been hearing he’s been unblockable in camp. Unfortunately, an Achilles injury is pretty bad.

It doesn’t make sense. The score really doesn’t matter. It’s just to evaluate how rookies look and how much depth you have. On the other hand, you have Antonio Brown throwing punches at practice today and then the Giants getting into a big brawl amongst themselves a few weeks ago

Buccaneers' Antonio Brown booted from joint practice after punching Titans player, one of several altercations

Dumbass didn’t just throw punches, he decided to go full Myles Garrett and start swinging with his helmet! Very unsportsmanlike, ESPECIALLY when you’re part of the team that’s the DEFENDING SUPER BOWL CHAMPIONS!!!

But considering it’s Antonio Brown we SHOULD’VE FUCKING SEEN THIS COMING

Another fight in the stands this weekend. Seems like this is going to happen a lot this season.

Pats cut Cam. Logically speaking I don't think I should be surprised and yet I am.

Damn, I'm kinda surprised by that.

i'm not surprised he got cut but the timing is what surprised me. he was never the long term option but regular season is right around the corner so again..timing. mac jones looked pretty good against the giants and bill has that 'next man up' mentality. pats have no issues cutting people.

hope mac is indeed the guy.

Right exactly - it's more the timing of it that threw me.

Meanwhile (being in NC) there's some surprise on Grier getting cut.

Mac did outplay Cam, and he’s cheaper at the moment, so I’m not too surprised. Plus, Mac is the kind of quarterback who doesn’t really have much to gain from sitting. He’s not really a raw prospect. He’s a pocket passer with a high football IQ and a good work ethic; which is why I and a lot of other people had him pegged as a Patriots QB ever since January. Cam is washed. However, I don’t really see the point in cutting him though. He’s more than good enough as a backup. I really don’t understand the Jaguars trading Minshew right now either. Having a good backup is a blessing, and it might even be more necessary than ever with the extra game they’ve added this year (so more opportunities for injuries unfortunately). My only guess is that Bill Belichick simply respects Cam enough to give him a shot to start elsewhere. I think Cam is probably going to the Texans. Cam would easily start for the Texans. Even if Deshaun Watson somehow clears his name in 22 different cases, he’s made it clear that he’s not playing for Houston again. Tyrod is not great, and the only other competition is a third round rookie who started less than ten college games. Plus, Houston’s GM used to work with the Patriots organization.

He reset the running back market alright. Back to zero.

Jokes aside, I guess I’ll give my preseason Super Bowl prediction right now since we’re 24 hours away from having pro football again. I’m thinking it’s going to be the Bills and Rams, and I give a slight edge to the Bills.

I think the Bucs are going back to the Super Bowl too. As for the AFC, no clue. I REALLY want my Jets to go, especially with Zach Wilson, but who knows

I'll be happy as long as the Chiefs don't win it all and suffer immensely.
