The bright colours of origins too! I’m so impressed with just how bright they’ve made them - they look fun

My daughter is a teenager now, but she still like to play with the battle armor figures and "Jumpy Man". I got her her own She-Ra and she really wants an Origins Catra.

True! They really stand out on the shelves amidst all the muted colors of Star Wars and MCU figures. Heck it makes me think one of the reasons Bumblebee is so attractive to kids is that bright yellow color.

Is Origins Man-E-Faces known to have mis-matched orange between his torso, head, and arms? I just noticed the color on mine seems pretty uneven.

Speaking of Man E Faces, idunno if there's any easy way to go about it but is there any way to access his head drum? Or is it pretty much a dead solid connection that only breakage will give access?

You're probably seeing the difference between plastic and paint or difference types of plastic.

plus some paints don't have enough pigment to totally cover some colours of base material so it'll bleed through, which you can see on the arms of at least my Man-E

It could also be that some parts weren't painted as well as others.

That makes sense. He’s also just a little more yellow than I was expecting.

I just got in Mosquitor. Waiting on arrival of Ram Man and Scare Glow from BBTS. But I’m all caught up with MOTU origins.

with European preorders of Horde Troopers in Origins wave 8, and Power Con Grizzlor being released (meaning retail versions soon) we are getting more Evil Horde. Wish some members of the Snake Men will be coming out soon.

The problem with the Snake Men is that each one requires all new tooling, but the MOTU team seems to know how to get the most out of the tooling they do have. I think we'll see some more repaints before any Snake Men, and Fuerza-T is a good way to use preexisting tooling while at the same time bringing in something "new" to the brand.

Other that Wun-Darr what do y'all think are some easy characters we could get with existing tooling?

I still want an Oo-lar. Potentially the only new tooling they'd need is a male set of human bare feet and a He-Man pelvis area without a molded waist belt (would be cool if a removable He-Man waist belt was one of the accessories).

the Mattel MOTU team during an interview with Pixel Dan mentioned to pay attention to the box art. The box art will reveal what’s next/coming out in the origins line. So far for figures not out of pre-orders, I can see Two Bad in packaging art.

Preorders for Origins wave 8 on zavvi for December has Sun Man, Clawful, Anti Eternia He man, Horde Trooper, and deluxe Terror Claw Skeletor, deluxe Flying Fist He-Man and Stridor.

we know they already have the armor for Meckaneck (from Stinkor) and tooling for Whiplash (from Clawful). Plus they will eventually do an individual released for a redeco of Power Con Grizzlor like they did with the LoP Power Con 5 pack.

mattell can also easily do Anti Eternia of the other main core characters like Teela. I have heard rumors of an Anti Eternia Teela. And when the Snake Men are introduced a Snake Man version of Man At Arms.

Don't forget King Randor is just a head and spear away thanks to Jitsu's armor. Also Huricane Hordak could possibly be made from Power-Con Hordak if that crazy arm of his has a removal tip.

Have they announced origins Moss Man yet? He's basically a green flocked Beast Man.

Not officially announced but he's featured prominently on Stinkor's box art, so likely coming in a future wave.

I'm really hoping to see Sun-Man at Powercon this weekend! And the Jitsu wave! I still hope Jitsu's hand is vac metal!
