On one hand, that's amazing. On the other hand, it started out looking way more like the Falcon and ended looking way more like a toy. Hahaha.

 

I'm very impressed with this. There seemed to be a bit of grease on one of the faces and the painted just rubbed off. Bring on Thundercracker and Skywarp!

 

Oh so they are separately packaged! That's good to know. Nothing worse than when parts are installed on the bot and have time to further stick together because of climate, not 100% cured paint, and other variables leading to possible damage when trying to move or remove them.

Hopefully I'll have it tomorrow. Got super excited today when Ontrac pulled up, but they only brought me Opticlones. Still cool but I was expecting them together because they made the trip side by side with tracking updating at the same time for every stage.

 

Lube is great for getting it in the hole (oooh errr) but that pressure on the peg is still there. The risk of damage hasn't changed sadly. I've had to sand peg and hole on mine

 

I knew the coronation kit could be placed on and look good even if not fully attaching properly. That should make a lot of people happy. How well is it holding on?

 

I loosend the screws on the shoulder pads for them to fit. I tried the crown but it just balanced on top. The cape is just balancing on a stand. I think it may be possible to unscrew the capes connector for Mp-11 and 3D Print an adapter for DS.

 

After stripping the paint getting it in wasn't really a problem, it was getting a swivel on it  

It may need a slight sanding still in all seriousness.

I haven't seen anyone put him in a dramatic pose. How posable is he?

Yet another new video.

 

He's just as articulated as MP52 for example. Ab crunch, wide ankle tilt, Great neck articulation, double jointed elbows and butterfly joints. He has all the articulation you could want but still suffers a touch from TE prime syndrome that he looks somewhat rigid as he is very square in comparison to MP52, just as I found TE01 compared to MP44.

 

It's confirmed that the guy who designed TE-01 is the guy who designed DS Starscream. think his/her name is Iron Star? Its in chinese so i'm not really sure.

It's really not too noticable. The paint is durable enough that it won't scratch easily. Definitely a lot stronger than whatever Takara uses It's also just user error on my part ahaha.

 

Right yeah, I personally gotta have some sort of OCD or something cause i'm pretty sure i've never let a single piece out of the ordinary go unnoticed. Legit the reason I double up on combiners these days was originally because my first copy of FT Wildrider having scuffed shoulders just got to me too much, hahahaha.

 

Oh yeah, i understand. I'm like that with official MPs. One scratch and it triggers my OCD. I'm not too fussed with third party or KO stuff though ahaha.
