This might be the first Lego set I ever try to get early. I own a red Strat and it's the same guitar I've been using for the last 10 years. I'd love to have this atop my amp. I'm just a little disappointed they couldn't print/put stickers for the volume and tone knobs to have it stand out from the surrounding studs, but it shouldn't be too hard to print my own labels.
Well, my local Target had 3 so I did end up grabbing the Winnie the Pooh set, though I'm not gonna build it till I finish my Mega Construx TMNT Technodrome. Gives me incentive to finish that build.
Picked up 6 of the new MCU minifigs today. The capes don't come in the little boxes anymore. I basically got them for free from Kohls; after buying a couple sets, I got $30 in Kohls cash. I had the store pick them, and the only dupe I got was zombie Cap (if I would have picked, all 6 would have been the same). Disney+ MCU Lego Minifigs by Wes, on Flickr
Have you seen the Mega Construx one? https://www.amazon.com/Mega-Probuilder-Stratocaster-Construction-Collectors/dp/B0916PT8VQ i have one and it is fantastic.
Wow. Both LEGO and Mega Construx sharing the same license? That’s unusual. The license must be non-exclusive I guess.
So I built this over the weekend since I was in the mood to build some Lego kits. I don't collect the Monkie Kid series, but loved the look of them in the store. This one caught my eye since I loved the design being a noodle bowl (reminded me of saimin bowls in Hawaii) and a robot tank! I so HAD to get it for my collection since it just screams "me". I absolutely love the build in person. There is so much going on it isn't even funny. The bowl part has lots of serving space and random ingredients, utensils, and equipment (the printed clear piece is seriously awesome). There is a noodle plate launching fridge attached to one arm and the other has the awesome pig looking blaster with carrot gun and random fish missile. I even love the panda looking robots (the bigger one has a swivel head where one is an angry face and the other is a happy face). Now I really need to watch the show to see what is going on with this set. Even if I don't watch it, the whole thing is just awesome.
LEGO Creator 2022 Rumored Sets - The Brick Fan • Off-Road Buggy (31123) – 160 pieces/€14.99 • Super Mech (31124) – 159 pieces/€9.99 • Forest Mythical Creatures (31125) – 175 pieces/€14.99 • Supersonic Jet (31126) – 215 pieces/€19.99 • Speedster (31127) – 258 pieces/€19.99 • Dolphin and Turtle (31128) – 137 pieces/€9.99 • Majestic Tiger (31129) – 755 pieces/€49.99 • Submarine (31130) • Townhouse/Noodle Shop (31131) • Viking Longship and Sea Serpent (31132)
Submarine----so in if it's realistic. But I'm expecting something more like a smaller version of this:
Viking Longship sounds interesting! And Noodle Shop too - maybe @betsuni will need one to go with Piggy up there haha.
If somebody could take pictures of the noodle shop with any or all of the Hibotchi Heats when it gets released, that’d be great.
Been working on these for the past few days to beef them up and make them bigger from the original stock instruction builds (Demolition set and Cement Mixer Truck sets, respectively). I'll probably replace the shovel on the front loader with a larger one while I made the cement truck an 8-stud wide build instead of 6, and added some extra details while I was at it (like the side ladders on the front loader and the rear upper portion on the mixer).
LEGO Winter Village Santa's Visit (10293) Revealed - The Brick Fan LEGO Super Mario 64 Question Mark Block (71395) Officially Revealed - The Brick Fan
The tiger, dolphin/turtle, sub, mech and buggy sound interesting! Found a set I'm gonna pick up sometime: I would have gotten it but I only have so much and am still looking for Rhinox.
Mario ? Block set looks lame to me (the actual block looks great). Like the engineering is neat but there are far better things I can drop $200 on in Canada. Micro builds are cool freebies but not something I’d want to spend money on. Also these blocks don’t appear in Mario 64. Seems like there is something hidden in the bottom. Also what’s with the pricing? ? Block $170 USD or 200 CDN Tumbler is $230 USD or $330 CDN WTF?
Looking at the Mario set, I wonder what the front flap is for. It's open a smidge in one image but not featured in the video.
The Mario Question Block looks very cool from a design engineering standpoint but it's not something that personally interests me as a purchase so I won't be picking that up. The Santa Visit cottage looks fantastic and is a definite buy, however. Love how it came out and tis the season very soon! It and the Gingerbread House would be awesome together.
