So Challenger came sooner than I thought, right at the same time UT's Galvatron did. I actually don't mind the battle damage and the colors. On hand they are hardly noticeable and the head isn't as blotted as I imagined from some pics. I think I'll keep the head as is until I change my mind because one day I'll make a custom head as good as Shmoptimus Prime's.

His arms are having a hard time tabbing in from out of the box, making them whole, but I'm sure that's an easy fix.

Are you squeezing the spring-loaded hood pieces together as you tab them in? And are the forearm pieces rotated correctly? It’s hard to see from your pics.

And thanks for the complement on the head! All I did was paint it and install it.

 

D'oh I didn't think about the spring loaded parts. The arms look much better now.

Unrelated, but has anyone cheated the system by giving Challenger Energon blades and his gun? I know this one company is coming with a AOE Prime with blades and a gun, but I wonder if there's a kit or a Ebay listing for just the blades and a 3D printed gun for a Masterpiece sized optimus prime.

 

I’ve posted pics of my challenger with alien attack el cid’s gun (I ended up with an extra one after I sold that piece of shit) and I’ve stuck the blade from MPM Optimus on his hand with sticky tack before. I much prefer the sword and shield but it’s always awesome to have options.

 

I am beginning to wonder if this might get reissued since Peru Kill has gotten reissued. I guess one can only dream. I only wonder because I am thinking about getting this one I found on ebay.

 

Well I'm sad to say while Nero lost his right horn again from the slightest touch, I think Challenger is king in UT's lineup imho. Very solid and tight in my hands. I'm so glad I got him and Dragoon.

Hey does anyone remember the guy who sells like new add on parts for the Unique Toys Challenger Optimus Prime? He did new abs and some other parts for him. He has a Instagram that he sold the parts on but I forget what his Instagram name is.
