Got a cheeky day off before the little one goes back to school tomorrow, so brought her to soft play…. Had to get in there myself to give her a boost to the top of the slide, and there’s these ‘levels’ for climbing/getting down….

Absolutely thought of myself as Robocop, rolling down the OCP car park…. :lol

funnily enough, I just checked my Omegalock order and realised that when they gave me a refund the other week for my XTB Percy order, it was ACTUALLY for this guy as he was on the same order.

    D’OH!!

Hopefully he’ll be back in stock next payday, or I’ll get him from ShowZ instead.

Gnaw & Wreck Gar invoice recieved & paid. New robot distractions hopefully imminent!

I'm assuming that this'll mean that Slag won't be far behind. I could do with a chunk of giant robot dinosaur about now...

Dammit, the Feds have caught up with me.

Checked the tracking on my Titan and it seems Parcelforce are holding on to my Netherlands Scorponok until customs fees are paid...

Apparently they have sent a letter/invoice in the post.

In better news I've got an invoice from IDT for Gnaw and Wreck-Gar, so they must be imminent arrivals and Pulse have posted out my Core Soundwave today (after yet another 'there's a problem' email overnight).

    Hi all,
bit of spamming here I think by me,
    sorry,
I am off to a lovely shop in Weston this week (my mum lives there...not in the shop....),
and will be trading in 4 massive boxes of TFs mainly, as I am about half way through the purge, mainly of doubles and just 'not greats' or 'don't fit' (too-small Ratchet, looking at you).
so, before they wend their way, is there anything here that people might want to fill collection gaps, no accessories unless obvious, and prices would be around 3 quid or less for deluxes, bit more for bigger, less for smaller, and boxed stuff to discuss.
Friday it all gets loaded up and takes a drive.

No stress whatever, happy to let it go as they are a lovely bunch.

    Let me know,

    Laters.

    Awesome

They also need to be wearing shades and little ferret trenchcoats :lol

IMO, this shouldn't be any different than any of the lawyer friendly renamings characters have got in the past. We're still free to call him Slag if we want to, what does it matter what it says on the box? :-/

Great ships and a big thumbs up from me (and my brother) for the name choice of your Romulan ship. My brother especially is a big fan of Tomalak :thumb

Hmm I'm tempted to get her. Not least of which to have some more variety of chug sized fembots. The MP one I have is lovely but a bit fiddly at times.

So.... how many of those notifications on your screen back there are @doucoo liking your posts? :lolol

Anyone else seen the new Mego figures on sale at the Topps website? They have a different pair of figures each week that are only available for that week

Just bagged a 8" cloth goods DS9 Quark figure for £20 delivered

Oh and GOG.com have 6 'new' old Trek games on their site such as Elite Force and Bridge Commander

Oh and here is my main STO character, the signature from the Fleet I played with:

@stevej - lovely! So, in the relative safety of here, away from the knights of the official thread, what’s your honest opinion vs MP52?

I'll add my voice to the praise, which seems fairly universal across the web, of how good AEW's All Out was. Could have easily been a case of Tony Khan over promising and under delivering, but no, it absolutely nailed it where it needed to. All the big moments they got right and even the little moments like Ruby Soho emotionally hugging Bryce Remsberg after she said "I'm back" and Penta hugging his daughters who were in a mixed state of distress and relief after seeing their dad involved in a crazy match, it all contributed to a very special show.

Newest addition to the collection is SS Jazz. He's really solid and just that little bit better than all my other Earthrise and Kingdom deluxe Autobots. If it was upscaled with a few tweaks I'd be happy for it to sit with my MP carbots.

Also got a Hedgerow exclusive , Kingdom Maximal Prickletron.

AEW is managing to create that at the moment. I'm not one of those people who blindly promotes them as I've only watched a couple of matches but that PPV was incredible and felt like the old Monday Night Wars. There are ways to watch it online for free if you were so inclined to give it a try.

Thank you I knew it had a name! And thank you, I've been having a little trouble sleeping recently so thought I'd try to contribute.

Just touching on that video review thing one last time, that reviewer has now been attacked by someone seemingly pro-trans over the practice of dead naming. Either that or it's a troll. More tweets, more clicks, more money.

Going to bundle all of these together. As Prescient said, Hasbro UK have said there won't be a reissue here and I doubt Europe will get one either as there don't tend to be reissues in Europe. I didn't realise Smyths used Hasbro EU, they have their own account manager with Hasbro UK so get special treatment. Omega and Jetfire were reissued in the US (Predaking is reissued next year) so I presume those were specially imported for Smyths.

BBTS is the cheapest at £165 but customs and clearance fee will bring it to £209. Not sure if you'd get Duty on it as well but I don't think so, it might work out slightly less than £209.

The pound is getting slightly better against the dollar but the ridiculous shipping surcharges are probably going to get worse as we get nearer to Christmas. I've got nearly 3 times as many Scorponoks coming in the next lot if I get them, they are now scheduled for October but I'm hoping that the larger quantity will make the shipping from the US to the UK a little better.

I'm genuinely not going to sales pitch you here, if you really want Scorponok to go with Fort Max then try and get one preowned although they don't tend to go for below £200 but you might be lucky. New they seem to be £220-£300 based on how desperate people are. The last lot I had all sold on Ebay for £220-250 each.

If you decide you definitely want one and don't go with BBTS then PM me and I'll keep one back for you if they arrive.

    TRUTH!

I just wish he turned up in more episodes. Love that bit in All Good Things when Picard jumps to the present and Tomalak is there on the screen and shouts "HOW LONG WILL WE SIT AND STARE AT EACH OTHER ACROSS THE NEUTRAL ZONE?!" before settling back into his chair.

Well I didn't watch the video but it seemed like the reviewer was trying to encourage people to adopt the new name and was making his case for it. As he's American I think he thinks the term 'slag' is more offensive over here than it actually is and is trying to promote a positive change, which is commendable. However, as you've said, people can still call him what they want in their own minds.

It's like the varying canons, if Cyclonus is Skywarp/Thundercracker/Bombshell and lives in the future or if he's a Targetmaster or if he time travelled back to the past and was decapitated by Megatron or if he's an ancient Cybertronian warrior who hangs out singing with Tailgate, that's up to the individual.

I never liked the way the comics killed off Snarl and the movie mostly omitted him as he was my first Dinobot so Snarl is the main man as far as I'm concerned and Swoop can go f**k himself. Let's have a video about that :lol

Oh by the way, I've been trying to post this for a few days regarding our discussion about Titans and how they come packed two per box. This is the shipping carton freshly opened.

If they were the same size and the same price then MP-52 would win. I don't really like the faux cockpit but I do prefer the way it allows for the ab crunch - and DS having a waist swivel isn't really a huge bonus due to the way it breaks up the cockpit. I also kinda prefer the darker grey now I've gotten used to it. It would be a very close call though. VERY close.

However... They're not the same size. I never wanted a Starscream that was only as tall as Ironhide, scale chart be damned! DS looks WAY better imho next to Megatron and Soundwave at this height whereas MP-52 looks like a runt. Some people like that. I hate it.

In terms of look and feel DS is fantastic. I've not transformed him yet but the painted finish is brilliant (same matte finish as MP Hound) and articulation is everything I'd ever need to be honest. The fact the it borrows so much from the aesthetics of MP-52 (the head sculpts look identical) really helps it.

Then there's the price - I can get all 3 DS seekers for less than the price of 2 official seekers. So that gives me more money to spend on records. :)

In short, no regrets... And MP-52 will be heading to eBay shortly. Now I just can't decide whether to cancel my MP-52+ Thundercracker and Skywarp or to just keep them to sell MISB later at, hopefully, a small profit.
